Working with the Raven House owners has been a pleasure. We had reserved 2 Yurt's for our travelling party back in January. Not long before our trip, the Ferry service went on strike which completely changed our trip. We had to make other arrangements for every part. Since it was very short notice and the policy states that no refunds will be given, after talking with them, they decided to help us out due to the circumstances. I would HIGHLY recommend them and hope to be able to stay with them one day in the future!

What an awesome find. Recently moved to the Homer area from Colorado, and stumbled upon the Raven House. Not only is it surrounded by spectacular scenery, you get to stay in an actual Yurt! Not to mention it was the best sleep I've had in forever. The price was unbeatable as well. Andrew has been more than hospitable, friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this great place enough. I would gladly stay here any time, and would recommend it to anyone I know.

Very beautiful area. Clean place, nice lounge with kitchen, TV, showers/restroom, nice deck for relaxing views and BBQ. Yurt was comfortable and we slept well. Would definitely go back. There is a little bit of traffic noise and the potra-potty by Yurts needs plants cleared away more, but was as nice experience. Close to Homer AK is a big plus.

Beds we're very comfy. Love having a wood stove in the room. It's far enough back from the road that we couldn't hear traffic. Andrew was very helpful and friendly, and we are looking forward to our next stay there! Our first time trying out staying in yert. Loved it. We usually camp in tents. So this was like a buff tent ?.

We relied on the reviews at Hotels.Com to choose this location. They are WRONG! This reservation was a hold only but they took all of the money up front. Hotels.Com even recognized that. However, Hotels.com was not able to return our money but we do understand it is because they are a middle person. They were pretty good and gave us a credit. We DID NOT stay. It was extremely DIRTY. We arrived and met the person that manages this place because the owner is out of state. She seemed to be very unusual. She told us she cleaned the whole place with Pinesol. It was so bizarre. We left after 15 minutes and still have not got our money returned but it is under dispute with Capital One. Also, the dimensions and amenities were misrepresented. My wife didn’t even want to sit down. Nor my daughter. They took a bunch of pictures and we got out of there.

This was not a very good place to stay! The lodge doesn't have proper utensils to cook with! The garbage smelled so bad clearly had not been emptied in a very long time! The phone number listed was never answered! We didn't know which yurt we were suppose to have so we just guessed! There was not enough wood so we took from the other huts! The worst thing was the port a potties had not been emptied in a very very long time! So gross!!!! Please do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere! Not worth the few bucks you save!

We booked a stay at the cottage on our trip with family to Alaska. While the yurts may be nice for camping, we found the cottage to be dirty and uninhabitable. The sheets had blood stains, food left in the kitchen, a hole in the floor, items left by prior guests and the list goes on. Not a safe environment during COVID to say the least. The owners could not be reached to assist with concerns.

Great place, woodburning stove is awesome along with the free wood. Our second year staying here. We halibut fish in Homer and sleep here the night before and after. So much less expensive and nicer than rooms in Homer. Cant wait till next year!!
