I lived here 10 years before getting married. Anytime there was maintenance issue it eas taken care of quickly. One time I had a pest control issue after neighbors moved out and they had the guy come out multiple times to fix it. The only problem that I had is that the manager changes like all the time. But the apartments are nice clean, and it's a safe neighborhood. I had tons of decorations out all the time, potted Garden items, and nobody ever messed with anything. I would often sit outside and read at night and never had any issues.

I have lived here 8 years. The property && the apartments are very nice. However, rent keeps going up. I’ve had to do my own pest control, even tho it’s included in our rent, because we haven’t had pest control come monthly like we are supposed to. I had a bad ant problem && finally went to Home Depot to buy things to treat the ant beds around my unit. My water heater was out for almost 2 weeks && I was still expected to pay full rent! I was offered a $50 gift card but never received it. That absolutely does not compare to the stress of not being able to shower, wash dishes, or wash bottles for my new baby. My toilet has not worked in a week && I don’t expect it to be fixed anytime soon. This use to be a great place to live but myself && other tenants feel helpless. There’s a hole in the side of one building, siding && installation hanging off another building. Nothing is getting fixed.

I have read some other residents reviews and have done a review in the past. Some of the people must have been raised in a barn if they think anything in the last 4 years have been good. I have lived here over 10 years. In the last 4 years all they have done is Raise the rent from 580 to 880. However I did get a new refrigerator and after 6 months the seals around refrigerator have come loose and haven't been fixed yet.This is after I waited for 5 years for a new refrigerator. because the ice maker quit working and I had to buy ice for months at a time. Central unit has been slowly been leaking every year and all they have been doing is fill it up every 6 months. But this year it ran out 2 months ago. They still haven't refilled it yet. it needs to be fixed. The flooring at the front door needs to be fixed. The windows need weather stripping as wellas the front door. doors and shudders need painted.

I am fixing to post a bad review on social media, call the news station and my attorney. This is not a safe place to live and the landlords don't care if you have been without heat for 6 weeks and it's been down in the 20's/30's the last few weeks. Slum lords and I will be contacting the housing authority and the better BBB. It is not the residence fault that they are in the middle of an ownership change. Handle your business!

1st.. the people giving this 1 stars must really not be following rules or paying rent. Just sayin.

Safe neighborhood. I've been here 5 years with only a few minor complaints. We have it so much better here than with the majority of apartments in Decatur. The Majority of my neighbors are great. I can sit outside at night and read and can go to the mailbox after dark and be safe. Manager is doing her best with the new owner which is great. I have a town home style apartment with 1 1/2 bath and it's very spacious.
Pros: Safe Neighborhood, spacious, allows pets, The walls are a nice warm sand color which I love, monthly pest control, washer dryer hook ups and a laundry room for those who don't, it's well lit, dishwasher, garbage disposal. I've subbed at the elementary school and the staff are fantastic and the school is bright and colorful. They do really fun field trips with the kids. Close to Kroger, Target, Walmart, ect.

Cons: Maintenance is a bit slow getting things done, however it does get done. Kids need to be better monitored and not be allowed to scream all the time in front of apartments that aren't theirs (only 2 bad parenting apartments here), Lawn care needs to come more often, and dumpsters are always full. Maybe add a day to the trash route.

The Pro's by far outweigh the Con's. Safe neighborhoods are hard to find these days!

Never in the office, and never answer the phone. If you dont call the emergency maintenance line it will not get done, and these kids are the loudest omg !!!! I always fear when I'm ready to move I wont be able to, because no one is ever in the office.
