Yesterday we went on the 2.5 hour manatee and historic tour with Julie. It was amazing! We saw so many manatees and she is so knowledgeable about them and the area. She was also patient with us since we were not very experienced in a kayak. I highly recommend this experience with her!

We had a fantastic time. The tour was great and Julie was an excellent guide. We were very fortunate that she was able to accommodate our group of 6 on very short notice. We had originally planned to rent kayaks from a different outfitter, but they turned out to be closed on Christmas day despite taking our reservation. Julie saved our day. And, the trip turned out perfect. We were so fortunate to have perfect weather and to encounter a large group of extremely playful manatee!

At a whim I called to see if they could deliver to a private ramp, and within 20 minutes, we had a plan, and the waivers were signed. We did not need to take a guided tour. We really wanted to explore "our" lake, but no one was lending boats yet, since the hurricane had lowered the waterlines. Parks were open to private boats, and River Wild was and did Deliver. I've been trying to decide what kind of boat I want for this kind of activity. It's their models. Thank you for a great afternoon. Many residents from the park came out to watch us and took your information for their families. I hope they all call. I certainly will on my next visit.
