I got married in September 2022 at Riverfront Events and it was absolutely a MOVIE! Our guests had an amazing time. Working with the entire staff made my experience so much better. I planned my whole wedding and Yassmin & Val made sure that I didn't stress about anything the weekend of! Kelli was my bridal attendant and she made sure I had everything I needed while also being entertaining to my guests 😍 The family environment and beautiful setups are what made everything so special. My guests are also still talking about how wonderful the food was! The wedding was so great we tried to plan a one year anniversary party just to do it all again but the weekend was already booked 😂 However we will be back for a vow renewal! Thank you all for doing such a beautiful job. I love to see the Riverfront being shown in such a positive light!

The staff, the food, and the views at Riverfront Events was top notch!! My wife and I are photographers and we shot a wedding here last year. All the staff were extremely friendly and on their "A" game. The food spreads during cocktail hour were so picturesque, I couldn't resist snapping a few photos!

Their ballroom was the perfect spot for fun dancefloor candids and their outdoor space right up on the river was spot on! So many opportunities for great photos, and you don't have to go very far from the venue - it's literally right in the back!

I highly recommend Riverfront Events for any wedding or event. The staff was great, the food was delicious, and the photo ops are there. Hope to return soon!

Everything is absolutely Amazing and exceeded our expectations. Yasmine, Tina and Val were amazing from the time we met them throughout the entire process. The venue, food and accommodations were everything that we wanted to celebrate our big day. Our guests enjoyed the location as well as the venue and continue to brag about the food until this day. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for everything in one package.

Our wedding was everything we dreamed of! The venue was stunning, with breathtaking views and a beautiful setup that created the perfect atmosphere. The team was exceptional—Event Manager Yassmin and Event Coordinators Tina and Val went above and beyond to make sure every detail was flawless. They were professional, attentive, and made the entire day completely stress-free. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the amazing food and gorgeous location. We’re so grateful for the unforgettable experience they provided and highly recommend them to anyone planning their big day!

We attended Riverfront Events for a family wedding. The building is beautiful. The staff was friendly and constantly walked around serving us hors d'oeuvres.. There were several drink stations set up for us to get drinks. The decorations were amazing as well as the food served during the wedding. The outside overlooks the river and city skyline which is amazing. I truly enjoyed the venue for my Cousin's wedding. Riverfront Events did an excellent job.

I got married at Riverfront Events in October 2024. All in all, I would give the total experience a 4 out of 5 stars.
Pros: Beautiful location, great ambiance, excellent food, nice hotel rooms, made for great photos, server and bartender staff were great, my guests were happy
Cons: A lack of communication between hotel & event staff, only 1 person to person meeting for wedding, phone calls not returned, everything was handled by email which lead to misunderstandings

We recently hosted a 40th birthday celebration event at Riverfront Events and it turned out to be a wonderful evening for the 100 guests who attended.

The food was outstanding, with the guests raving about the variety and quality of offerings from salads to pasta to crab cakes to tenderloin and fresh veggies. And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the unanimous approval of the Dessert/Ice Cream Bar. Many thanks to Executive Chef Adrian Avila.

All of the staff with whom we worked -- Yassmin Low (Events Director), Jessica Ulmer (Sales Manager), Tina Zahran and Riley Senseny (Event Coordinators) and their supporting staff (from bartenders to servers -- were friendly, responsive, extremely competent and customer focused.

We would 100% recommend Riverfront Events (and the associated Hyatt Place Wilmington Riverfront for overnight accommodations) for anyone considering a special event.
