This was a great way to learn all about Pittsburgh. Viewing it from the river, I learned so much about the different neighborhoods that make up the city. The staff was very knowledgeable about the history of Pittsburgh and made the trip fun. The boat was well taken care of, and we felt safe. There were clean bathrooms on the boat, and you can take food/drinks along.

One of Pittsburgh’s best kept secrets, this Three Rivers boat tour was truly the highlight of our daughter’s Pittsburgh send off party! Big hit for all ages and highly recommended for family fun! Shout out to Brianna, Shona, Tressa and the whole crew who were welcoming and made for a wonderful afternoon! Thank you!

Safely operated the boat on the rivers and provided a safety briefing to all embarked. There are NO refreshments available for purchase. There are water dispensers on each deck adjacent to the heads. Better guidance should be offered to perspective passengers so that they may adequately plan to bring a soda, powerade, iced tea, etc. to keep themselves refreshed during this three hour tour.

Not being a native Pittsburgher, I have read some information about the industrial history of the city and region. I am a businessman and possess an affinity for the Industrial History of the U.S.A., so I was not uninformed as a guest. I hoped for more granular-level details about the particular sites that were pointed out and major milestones or challenges faced by each company. Often times, the narration would begin to address the political geography or sociology and that's not what I paid to learn about.

I also felt the end of the tour the narration began to address the changing landscape of this region; again important, but not the detail offered at the outset with the Jones and Laughlin Pittsburgh Works.

Reading about the, "Hardest Working River" and, "...Carrie Blast Furnaces and Edgar Thompson Works, and back again. Along the way, you’ll not only hear the stories of our region’s commercial and industrial heritage..." got me excited and glad to support this event. I fully expected to be, "Wowed".

If you are looking for a boat ride where you will become dehydrated, this is for you. If you are looking for a window into the industrial prowess of the past, this barely scratches the surface.

Great experience on the tour last week. We had 15 in our party and we all had a great time. The staff were awesome and Tresa provided a good narrative of the city in her presentation. Much better experience than the Clippers that we had taken previously. Only improvement would be to upgrade the exterior speakers so that we could hear the narrative better.

This is a great tour! The boat has multiple levels with plenty (temperature controlled) space as well as outdoor places to sit. The guides are really nice and walk around the boat as they present so you can chat with them and ask specific questions. There is water, coffee (with plant-based milk - THANK YOU!), and some light refreshments. My family had a great time

This boat ride was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The tour was informative. There are plenty of seats inside the boat and outside. If you choose to sit inside, there is air conditioning and large windows so you can see everything. They have a bathroom on each level. I wasn’t sure if I should choose this boat tour or another one I found that was a good bit more expensive but I’m so glad I chose this one. This was such a great experience for all of us, ages 2-71!
