We had our wedding at this venue back in October and it was absolutely beautiful! The owner, Mrs.Sharron, was very accommodating, sweet, and always willing to help or answer any questions we had! She went above and beyond to make sure the venue was everything I’ve ever dreamt of and so much more. I would definitely recommend!

Rocky mount was the only venue we looked at because we knew as soon as we got there it was the place for us. Charity was amazing and the property was perfect. We got soo many compliments on how beautiful the place was. We couldn’t have had a more perfect day. Thank you rocky mount for helping make our day unforgettable. The food was delicious, the DJ exponential entertainment was awesome. We literally wouldn’t change a thing

Rocky Mount is a great venue. It has a large covered outdoor area that serves as a great place for receptions, parties, etc. The grounds are beautiful, with mature hardwood trees and lots of flowering shrubs. There's plenty of space for parking.

Some friends of mine got married here a week ago. It was absolutely beautiful. There was even a horse that happen to be running back and forth in the pasture. The house had plenty of space for everyone to get ready in. Just great.

Rocky Mount is one of the most beautiful venues around this area. Our wedding experience was magical and simply over the top!! Thank you Rocky Mount for making this incredible time in our lives perfect!

We had our sons wedding here and it turned out great. The facility is very nice and set up well to take care of all the wedding needs. They have rooms for the bride/bridesmaids and the groom/groomsmen to get ready. Lots of nice spots for pictures. Staff was great and made everything happen even when we had some unexpected rain. Food was good and it was nice to have everything taken care of by one place. Definitely would recommend this location for a wedding or other large event.

This "Wedding Venue" is beautiful, unlike the behavior of the owner, SHARRON COBB.

Sharron Cobb, (Whom also LIVES there and will be there the entire time) ruined my friends gorgeous wedding on November 11th, 2023. They rented the venue 9am-10pm, for thousands of dollars. Everything was going great that day. Until 7:54pm, Sharron comes downstairs and tells us that we need everything, everyone, and clean up done by 10pm. The reception was just getting started. She said we could rent out the venue until midnight for $300 extra dollars. *Cash only* After 3 of us gladly agreed to pay to keep the peace and to not abruptly ruin the wedding reception, she waited around everyone with her arms crossed, for the payment, which we gathered and I brought back to her, to which she retreated upstairs. The Groom got word of it, and got the money back, said we will just wrap it up. They were furious. We all were.

As we were packing everything up, she was lurking around every room, watching our every move with her arms crossed, which made all of us feel very uncomfortable. As we had almost everything out of the house, I was standing by a door with a friend, waiting on another friend to come out of the bathroom (at that time I had had enough of this unprofessional woman lurking around, like we were going to steal anything of hers, so I was not going to leave my friend alone with Sharron in the house.) Sharron came up to me and started a conversation, I don't recall exactly what she said but I told her she ruined my friends wedding, and it would be nice if she wasn't breathing down our necks while we are clearing the house of our belongings, then Sharron touches my arm. I pull back and say Don't touch me. She tells me to leave, to get out of her house. I said Gladly as soon as my friend comes out of the bathroom. My friend comes out, we head outside.
THE BRIDE, GROOM, AND GUESTS were helping clean up outside so there were no extra charges. They are not the ones that are suppose to be cleaning up! They are suppose to leave and we clean up!

Sharron is STILL lurking around, outside this time. Why? You wanted us to leave, we are gathering our stuff and garbage.
She goes back inside. I can see her glaring at everyone from inside, in a window.
I am pretty sure everyone had left the venue around 9:30pm.

I will never recommend this venue to anyone. Ever. I will tell anyone that mentions ROCKY MOUNT WEDDING VENUE, 2364 ROCKY MT RD, PRATTVILLE ALABAMA 36066, what happened and how unprofessional SHARRON COBB is.

This venue ruins weddings abruptly! Would give 0/10 if there were an option.

And by the way, Sharron, you might want to frame real pictures of people from the 1800s, not frame fake photoshopped people.
