A little hole in the wall, that’s delicious. The staff was very friendly with all of us. The food was really good. Especially the pork ribs that melted in your mouth and fell off the bone before you even ate it. The barbecue sauce was great. Everyone liked their food. The mac & cheese had a little flavor kick to it. The empanadas were great too. They forgot to give me the corn bread.

After a day of antiquing in Columbia, Pennsylvania—home to some of the best antique stores—Rocky’s BBQ was the perfect spot for Sunday lunch. We split the Pitmaster Platter and a side of mac & cheese, and everything was fantastic.

The portions were generous, and the flavors really hit the mark. The sausage and ribs were absolutely delicious. The brisket was good too, though I tend to prefer a fattier, melt-in-your-mouth style, as this one leaned a bit on the leaner side with a slightly chipped taste. That said, it was still very enjoyable.

The staff were amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared that we were enjoying our meal. Their hospitality truly stood out.

I’d highly recommend Rocky’s BBQ. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to plan a trip back to Columbia PA from DC just for another round. Thank you to the awesome ladies at Rocky’s for a great experience!

Owner of Semi-Casual BBQ here. One thing I love to do is support our local businesses and communities regardless of what others would deem competitors.

Rockys BBQ is the real deal in barbecue. This is what our business model strives to achieve, and when I say the bar is set high, I mean that. Everything I tried was on point to the highest standard. Portion sizes are excellent, and the flavor profiles are out of this world delicious!

During my visit, I had their pulled pork with smoked beans, burnt end mac and cheese, and cornbread cake. I ordered the wife takeout cheddar jalapeño links and dill potato salad. Couldn't have been more pleased with our meals.

They have a sign posted in the seating area saying, "Good food isn't cheap, cheap food isn't good," and I'll tell you what, people say all the time barbecue is overpriced but don't understand the craftsmanship, and time it takes to put out this high standard of food. Rockys BBQ met all expectations without the feeling of "This was an expensive meal."

Thanks again, Rockys. we wish you continued success and hope to learn a thing or two for our own path in the world of BBQ.

My husband and I got a few things to share. The Pit Master Platter, the pork n mac, and a brisket empanada. Everything was delicious. I love the smoke flavor in the mac! Next time, I'm getting more than one empanada!

We stopped in today while in town for a long weekend. I've previously lived in the south and this place rivals those BBQ spots. This is by far some of the best BBQ you'll ever have. Don't sleep on the beans or corn cakes either. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

This place is truly a gem. I ordered beef sausage, brisket sandwich and a full rack of ribs. It absolutely did not disappoint. I'm not sure of the seasoning that is dusted on the ribs but it's perfectly balanced. The sausage had a nice spice to it and the brisket was juicy and tender. They always seem to have great and unique specials as well. Highly recommend. Definitely the best BBQ in the area. Can't wait to go back

What a great place. After years of driving by this restaurant on my way to work, I finally gave it a try after the urging of some co-workers. Some of the best ribs I've ever had. Smoky, but not too smoky. Perfectly cooked so they melted in my mouth. Same with the brisket and the pulled pork. The beef empanada was banging and the corn cakes were incredibly moist and delicious. Just spot on across the board.

I believe the place is female-owned, which is a plus in my book, especially in the male-dominated BBQ world. The owner and female staff were incredibly courteous and you could tell they took pride in what they served.

As someone who used to be in the restaurant business, it's not an easy gig, especially these days. Hats off to a job well done and I WILL be back. I encourage you to give them a try if you haven't already.

Just a fantastic BBQ joint. Really easy to order and wonderful service. They have great sauces, sides, and deserts. The bbq was very tasty on all fronts.
