He does nice work as a barber, and more than that, he’s a decent human being - which is a rarity nowadays! The shop is clean and well kept. He’s great with the kids, patient & does a nice cut & blend even for my wiggly 5 year old. He always has some wisdom to impart for them & they talk about their trip to the barber long after we’ve left. There’s no crazy loud music & seems to be a family friendly place. I’ve taken my kids to some other shops in the past where either the music was so loud that you couldn’t even think, or the conversation was inappropriate and not the right atmosphere to bring your kids. But this one checks all the boxes and is a great place to go for both kids and adults.

I am scheduled to out of state so I had a very short window to get hair cut. I messaged thru the app on the website. Within a hour hour Rome replied he would cut my hair tonight. Even the shop was closed he opened up to accommodate my time frame. Even though he came in his personal time he did not rush the process. He was thorough and gave me a great haircut. Good too see people take pride in customer service.

Rome’s Barbershop 💈 is my new favourite place! Friendly atmosphere & staff plus very clean. John is meticulous in his work. I showed him a picture & he duplicated it, the cut I always wanted! No one was able to cut my hair this way or they were afraid to go this short. I absolutely love my new cut! I definitely will be returning! Awesome cut John, thanks!!
