I've had the pleasure of staying in the Royal Gorge Yurts on a few different occasions, and my expectations are always exceeded!
The Yurts stay cozy at night, and cool during the day. The river front location is prime. Make sure to bring some groceries, you won't want to miss out on cooking a meal using the grill & outdoor gas stove. Wind down and relax next to the fire pit to end the day. Don't forget to check out all the other amenities. Book a Zipline tour, or Rafting trip, or simply explore the amazing scenery.

We had a wonderful time! Glamping at its best. Easy access to the Arkansas river, and with premium amenities while still "roughing it."

The Yurts are well designed, secure and maintained.

Premium amenities and access to nearby activities does come at a premium price, but was well worth it in our experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to explore the Royal Gorge area.

Amazing view and great yurts! We were just there for 2 days, and even though it was hot, the yurts cooled quickly at night. Beds are comfortable and the staff amazing. Thanks for the awesome trip!

Our yurt was super spacious and so aesthetically pleasing. Loved all of the features from the patio furniture and outdoor kitchen to the cooler and fire pit. We had everything we needed for a cozy retreat away from home. It’s very clean, has plenty of power outlets and can fit four people comfortably. Sometimes you hear the train pass through but it’s pretty peaceful and you get used to it. I would 100% stay here again.

Excellent place to stay and base camp out of. We were there with a large group and they were extremely helpful and the facilities were great for our trip.

The kids had an excellent time playing on the beach, playing corn hole, catching toads and snakes while the adults enjoyed the large gathering spaces to hang out.

Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Stayed here for a guys weekend, had a great spot right on the river. Accommodations were just right, fair price. The river was the perfect white noise when going to bed. Also recommend doing the royal gorge whitewater rafting and zipline package.

My wife and I met up with some visiting family here last week and stayed at the red yurt right on the banks of the Arkansas River. What a treat! The location is exceptional - but you need to be comfortable living outdoors. One of the closest restaurants is the White Water Bar & Grill, 3-4 miles up the road and definitely worth a visit. The water spigot was nearby the yurt and showers were just a 2 minute walk up the hill.

Even though it was warm during the day, the evenings cooled off wonderfully. We cooked dinner on the barbeque, watching rafts and kayaks float by as we ate. The firepits added ambience to our evening as we relaxed with a cold drink before dinner, enjoying the changing light from the setting sun. We feel asleep each night to the sound of the river - truly delightful. This was glamping at it's best!

This is our 3rd year vacationing with Royal Gorge Vacation, and it continues to impress. Ty and his team roll out a 1st class experience at a reasonable price. Whether you are camping in one of the yurts or airstreams on the river, or charging down the Arkansas with his river guide team, the whole experience is well worth it. This year we zip lined, and for a first time zip liner, the longer more intense course was awesome. Tarzan and Derek were a great team of guides, making everyone feel comfortable, while challenging us at the same time. Without those two, it just would not have been the Same. When you book with these guys, you get a world class experience and a great price, and one that will always leave you wanting more. Thanks Ty and Team, and we will see you next year!
