I wanted to surprise my wife with a river cruise during our 10-year anniversary trip to the burgh and booked a 3-hour private cruise with Rush Hour Boat Charters.

I went in with high expectations based on online reviews, and I'm honestly not sure who was surprised more, my wife, or myself with just how incredible the entire process and trip truly was!

From the very start making arrangements and booking with Captain Bob was a breeze.

On the day of our trip, we walked up to (before realizing who he was) Captain Andy in Station Square to ask for general touristy help locating something in the area and he was incredibly kind and helpful. As soon as I noticed the Rush Hour logo on his shirt and realized he'd be the one taking us out, I knew we were in for a great time!

Captain Andy's wealth of knowledge about the rivers, bridges, buildings, and the city in general, both historical and present, made every minute we were on board entertaining.

From tailoring the cruise and narration to our wants to sending us a personal message wishing us safe travels / a happy anniversary and thanking us for being on board the following day, Captain Andy went above and beyond in making this a magical trip!

I would highly recommend Rush Hour based on our experiences with Captain Andy alone, and we will definitely be back on a future trip to the city!

What a fabulous time. Two of us from out of town, and two who grew up in Pittsburgh. Captain Bob kept us all entertained. Great views of the city. Relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. Highly recommend this company for a great private tour of Pittsburgh. Well worth the money. Our trip was on Saturday, October 12, @2:15 PM.

Amazing all around! We did our gender reveal on the boat ride and it was nothing short of amazing, the captain Bob is amazing. He made sure to help us get all the angles for our beautiful photos and we couldn't be more happier. We will def be booking more tours with you guys. Thank you!

What a marvelous time seeing Pittsburgh from the water - we saw almost everything thanks to the Captain's commentary! Seeing ALL the bridges was the best part - they are so beautiful. Not only that, he was nice enough to squeeze us in for our tour. He knows the area - past and present and that made all the difference!

Went for my friends birthday- group of 5 girls and we all had a blast! It was raining the whole time but we had such a fun time going around the river. Captain Penny was amazing! Highly recommend this versus the tiki/party boats as this was a private boat that felt more relaxed. 10/10

Taking Pittsburgh visitors out on the river was a great way to see the city. The sightseeing while eating lunch on board was very enjoyable, while Captain Bob filled us in on the architecture and history of the city. He was great and so was the boat.

Captain Bob was awesome! It was raining when we got there but he made it a great trip! The rain let up and the kids were able to swim. The sunset, roar of the crowd at the Pirates baseball game and the city lights made this an unforgettable trip!
