My husband and I stayed at the Nantucket Cottages for our babymoon last week and overall I believe they only deserve 3 out of 5 stars. The location was really amazing - so close to the beach, which allowed us to get there with ease and even run back to the house if needed (important for me being almost 9 months pregnant!). But there were a few disappointing factors about the stay. The bed sheets and throw were stained all over which was really gross - I didn't doubt that they were clean, but just the view of the stains made me feel uneasy. The shower was also pretty pathetic. I know you can't expect the best shower pressure at rentals but I had a hard time just getting sand off because the pressure was so weak and sprayed everywhere and not in one direction. Also, on our second day we got a warning on our car that we did not have permission to park on the property. I called and after about 10-15 minutes I got through with someone who was able to tell me we should have received a welcome packet with a parking pass. They passed my number along for someone to call me, which they promptly did, and they then dropped off a parking pass (but not the welcome packet). Even though there were things we did not love about this stay, I would recommend staying at the Nantucket Cottages again.
