I had the pleasure of photographing Blair and David's wedding at Salvatore's Wedding and Event Venue in September, and it was an incredible experience! The venue's classic charm and elegant atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for their special day. The staff was professional, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. From the stunning décor to the delicious food, every detail was top-notch. I highly recommend Salvatore's for anyone looking for a beautiful, timeless venue for their wedding or event!

Had my daughter's wedding here last week. We were very pleased with everything. The venue is charming. Food was very good. Service was attentive. I was very impressed with the owner. Our photobooth guy had a bad battery for his remote control. The owner ran to Walgreens to get a battery and wouldn't accept money for the battery. It's hard to find service like this these days. Thank you Salvatore's for a beautiful wedding reception that will be in our memory forever.

Hosted a luncheon event at Salvatore's and had a blast! The staff here are fantastic and very caring. Both managers, Marco and Cameron, did a phenomenal job hosting us for our event. I would certainly recommend!

The staff was very attentive and professional. They made us feel at home. The crab puffs and calamari were delicious. The salad was lovely, and the salmon was done perfectly. I heard that the meatballs and steak were delicious, as well. We had a great, intimate evening and it felt private, but we knew the staff was there if we needed them.

This review is a little late, but we had our wedding here at Salvatore's on May 21st and we had the most amazing, perfect day all thanks to Salvatore's!! The venue itself is gorgeous & its located in the beautiful Lincoln Park neighborhood. Everything about this venue is amazing--the food, the location, the service, & the management. You can tell that they take so much pride in what they do. Marco & Renata were extremely helpful throughout the whole process as well as our day-of coordinator Erin who brought our vision to life that day!! Erin is a total rockstar and took the stress off my shoulders from the moment I arrived! She was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding & the day of. She truly took care of us that day and we are SO grateful! Our guests raved about the food, drinks, and of course--the tiramisu!! Many of them said it was the best wedding they had attended & we have this amazing venue to thank for that! Thank you Salvatore's for making our wedding day so special!!

When looking for a venue, we had many things that were important to us: Atmosphere, Location, Affordability, lgbt friendly, and somewhere that didn’t require us to do a lot of extra leg work. We wanted our wedding to be and to feel upscale, and to be beautiful and Salvatore’s delivered flawlessly on all counts. We had a small 50 person wedding which post Covid is referred to as a micro wedding. Marco helped us with each phase of our wedding from the tour of the venue and walk through of what is included, from our tasting which was so so fun and delicious, to the excellent vendor recommendations. Fast forward to our wedding day, we had their amazing coordinator Renata who went above and beyond to make things run smoothly.

Everyone says that not everything will go perfectly on their wedding, but they must not have had their wedding at Salvatore’s. Our day was so flawless… with a smaller guest count, we got to spend time with each other, we got to enjoy the delicious food, and our guests literally danced all night . The space was absolute perfection and we could not have asked for a better day. Our only regret is that we will only get married once! Thank you to Salvatore’s!

We recently had our wedding with Salvatore’s, and while there were many positives, there were also significant issues that impacted our overall experience.
First, I want to acknowledge that our wedding day was unforgettable, and we are grateful for the hard work from many of our vendors in making it a beautiful occasion. However, there were some key issues with the dinner service that fell short of our expectations. The most concerning issue was that the filet served was undercooked. As the bride, I was unable to eat the filet because of this, which was incredibly disappointing. Additionally, there was a long wait time for dinner to be served. These issues weren’t related to the timeline set by our day-of planner, and they should have been addressed properly, regardless of any outside factors.
What was most frustrating, however, was the way Marco handled our critiques after the wedding. When we raised our concerns, the lack of accountability and the dismissive attitude we received were incredibly disappointing. Instead of acknowledging the mistakes that were made, we were met with defensiveness and an unwillingness to accept any responsibility. This kind of response to constructive feedback is a large reason for the poor review. We understand that mistakes happen, but how they are handled afterward speaks volumes about a vendor’s professionalism and commitment to improving. Vendors should be just as open to feedback on what could be improved as they are to compliments on what went well. Unfortunately, Marco’s unprofessional approach to our concerns left a negative impression and diminished our trust in the service.
Additionally, I want to highlight an issue with the review process itself. My mother & father, who were the ones paying for our wedding, attempted to leave a review based on their experience. However, Marco flagged their reviews on certain popular wedding websites, claiming they were not clients—an obviously false claim. This not only undermines their right to provide feedback but also further reflects poorly on Marco’s handling of criticism.
In conclusion, while we were happy with many aspects of our wedding, the handling of the dinner service, Marco’s unprofessional response to our feedback, and the way our attempts to leave a review were dismissed significantly impacted our overall experience. I hope that Salvatore’s will take this feedback to heart and improve both their services and their approach to client relations moving forward.

Salvatore's is the perfect venue for a wedding. If you've always dreamed of a romantic and intimate experience filled with old Chicago vintage glamour, this is the place for you! A hidden gem located on a quiet tree lined street in Lincoln park, this venue offers the best of both worlds. The bustling city is within walking distance as you experience the serene greenery and garden from the cutest patio. There are various options as to whether you want an indoor or outdoor ceremony. The food is extremely good. We chose a plated dinner with an option of filet, salmon, or chicken. The creamy dill salmon is to die for. Don't bother serving wedding cake as Salvatore's tiramisu was a crowd favorite. I loved that the West room joyfully forced guests to get out of their seats and enjoy the celebration. I was worried at first about guests dining in a separate room from the dance floor, but everything at Salvatore is so organized that it all went quite smoothly. I also recommend booking the wedding planning services with Erin Supalo. Her smile and expertise literally takes away all of your stress. She is both personable and professional. I enjoyed and respected all of her advice and presence during the wedding. I want to relive this beautiful day!
