From the moment I walked into this place I knew this was the perfect place for our 25th Vow renewal. The Team was amazing every step of the way but I have to say that Shelly almost felt like family by the end of the process. I literally had to worry about nothing she took care of it all and the day of I am so happy I did not hire a wedding planner because she was on it and not needed. From the moment we stepped into the Sanctuary, we immediately fell in love with how stunning the place was and knew that this is where we wanted to host our wedding. Nancy & Shelly really took the time and cared about every little detail that we wanted and helped bring our vision to life. The day of, Shelly and her team were OUTSTANDING, making sure that we were taken care of, on schedule, helped make the room look beautiful and that no detail went astray. Throughout the entirety of the night, we had guests coming up and complimenting how beautiful the space itself was. The transition from the ceremony to the reception, with the subtle "room flip" was so seamless and quick that we didn't even realize that it happened - which was one of the small concerns we had. This is such an amazing backdrop for a wedding or any event with such a qualified and amazing team of dedicated professionals who provide exceptional service.

Sanctuary Events, Plainfield, IL along with their entire staff, Shelly, Nancy and Jessica gave my daughter her dream wedding!! They are amazing to work with. The venue was gorgeous and they did all the decorating, including all the floral arrangements. The table settings were amazing. The servers, the bartender everybody was amazing. I mean, there’s no other words I can use to describe this FANTASTIC venue and staff. Sovereign provided all the food which was fantastic. It was a fabulous wedding due to all the hard work of everyone at the sanctuary events and Sovereign. We cannot thank everyone enough. We had our ceremony and reception at Sanctuary Events. It was absolutely perfect! The space is a beautiful combination of industrial and luxurious. There are incredible photo opportunities with the beautiful bar, spiral staircase, and blue velvet couches. Nancy and Shelly are honestly amazing. When Shelly tells you they will take care of everything - believe her. They made sure everything was taken care of before and on our wedding day. I can honestly say I did not have a single worry on my wedding day and I would recommend this space to anyone looking to have a comfortable, beautiful wedding that guests can’t stop talking about.

I had my baby shower at Sanctuary Events. The venue has so much charm and is a blank canvas so you can transform the space into your own unique vision! Nancy, Shelly, and Kathy were incredible to work with and made sure everything was set-up and taken care of before and during the shower. I could not recommend this venue more!!!

What an amazing day! We celebrated our wedding at The Sanctuary this past weekend. From the moment we stepped into the venue we knew we wanted to spend our special day there. The modern industrial vibe is incredible, the food and service, out of this world. Nancy and Shelly worked tirelessly to make our wedding turn key. All we did was show up. My husband and I couldn’t have found a more perfect venue. From the second you inquire to the end of your wedding night the staff at Sanctuary Events really take care of you! Nancy and Shelly went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was exactly how we pictured it. The space and the decor were absolutely beautiful and our guest have not stopped talking about how perfect everything was. Booking here was perfect for me as I get overwhelmed easily and it was so nice to have a venue that took care of all the little details. I would choose the sanctuary 100 times over.

Having our wedding at The Sanctuary Events was the best and easiest decision we had to make - we didn’t even look at any other venues! Shelly and Nancy were absolutely terrific to work with and answered any question or concern I had throughout the whole planning process. They even let us come early the day of the wedding to take pictures since it was storming out! The wine is amazing, the staff was so attentive the whole night, and it was an absolutely beautiful atmosphere that we couldn’t have gotten more compliments on our venue choice. Highly recommend!
