If you are a food delivery driver do NOT take Scott Air Force space orders. You can’t deliver the food anywhere and the workers are insanely rude. On a power trip really.

Tried to get one simple question answered at the visitor center being what kind of I d. Do I need to gain access. Was literally the only person in the waiting room grabbed a number and sat quietly and waited. Was ignored for around 8 mins before I quietly got up placed my number in the seat I was in and left all without being acknowledged once. Upon making it halfway across the parking lot the chubby little airmen came running out screaming about me not waiting longer and being very unprofessional and aggressive because his little feelings were somehow hurt. Being an honorably discharged USMC 0311 i told him since he didn't have time for me I didn't have time for him and got in my truck and left without an answer to a simple question which is the entire mission of the visitor center. Waited a few hours to call to talk to someone about the terrible experience and was immediately put on indefinite hold till I hung up. Overall fail terrible experience.👎

I was one of the military guards here 16 years ago and times have changed. The old building we were at doesn't appear to exist anymore and this nice visitor center is in its place. It was air conditioned and had bulletproof glass between the people visiting and the personnel working there. I had one lower grade military guy there and two civilians checking people in. When I was stationed there people visiting the base would have to bring in their ID their point of contact and their vehicle information including registration and insurance. All I needed was my ID and the person I was visiting on base.

During Time of Covid, there are always technical difficulties. So be prepared to wait 10-45 minutes. They have a lot of traffic with not many social distance or limiting people who come in and no sanitizer or sanitized wipes available. Bring your own pen for documents.

It was very unfortunate to see how this base responded to the inclement weather during the air show. People were literally climbing over and under the gates trying to get out and yet your personnel did absolutely NOTHING to de-escalate the situation except scream at everyone to calm down. It really shows how unprepared this installation is to handle unexpected situations.
