One of the funest ways to tour Jacksonville is on a Segway! We had an amazing time riding and learning about the rich history of Jacksonville. What an amazing tour. Our tour guides were entertaining and took good care of us. Highly recommended.

The owner was knowledgeable and gave a tour of Jacksonville that was phenomenal. The tour was a bit long @ 3 hours. Wear comfortable shoes if you go there. Flip flops are not recommenced, but there was a pouch to place them in on the Segway though its a hassle when you want to get off or on. The Segway transport was a blast and we stopped and got lots of pictures and I was able to video from my phone while riding. It was a bit more pricey then i thought but, i would do it again real soon. The instructor/tour guide brought cold water for us on his Segway which was nice.

A while back we had scheduled a tour as a family when my mother came down with a knee infection and required emergency surgery. We called and asked if we could reschedule and were told no refunds, no rescheduling, no exceptions.

We were so excited to explore Jacksonville in a way that would enable me to without pain from my arthritis but this company was heartless. Unfortunately, you've lost our business and anyone who we speak with.

The experience was more extensive than I expected. The instructor/tour guide did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable and patient. Some beautiful and fascinating places in J-ville! We road on a variety of surfaces and slopes (up and down). You have to really concentrate on the uneven surfaces and slopes. My opinion: If possible, I wouldn't hesitate to ask to stay back if the terrain looks daunting, then join up again when the group circles back to you. Personally, I was impressed we could travel up and down all the terrain on the Segways. I really enjoyed it!

This is a great way to learn a little bit about Jacksonville, Oregon, while having fun at the same time! The Segway tour begins with some basic training on the vehicles at the shop, then moves through the historic streets for a two-hour, guided tour.

Our tour guide was chatty and knowledgeable and the strangers who made up the other part of the tour were fun and easy-going.

The Segway scooters are a bit twitchier than you'd think; standing still on them can be quite a chore. When the tour wraps up above the town in the the old cemetery, you wish you had more time on the things!

My dad and I won a tour in a silent auction and partook in an excursion with Segway of Jacksonville this May. It was a really fun and unique experience; in the past I have perceived Segway tours as kinda geeky but this was both interesting and informative! Lots of cool historical info about Jacksonville and the surrounding area which was great for me as a career historian. The training was excellent and I never felt unsafe. A lady on our tour, though, had a pretty bad crash (operator error on a downhill, nothing to do with the company or the tour guide) and our guide was more attentive and concerned than the woman’s own family members...not a fun experience for her I’m sure but the guide was very prepared and calm. I’m sure he was unhappy about the busted machine and I hope that their safety rating does not go down. It was truly a pleasant and positive experience for something I was a bit unsure about and I would gladly recommend this company to anyone looking for a cool way to learn about and explore the town. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because during the tour the guide kind of made political statements which, in our current time, just resulted in some unpleasant vibes from those who disagreed. I would counsel against any part of the tour speech that hints at any political leaning. Other than that it was a wholly enjoyable experience!

I wish there was a rating of zero starts. I put my X2 on consignment with Segway of Jacksonville and, after telling me that it had sold, they have cut off all contact with me. They will not return phone calls or emails. This business is very unprofessional and I suppose this matter will have to go to court. They might be good for other Segway issues but I wouldn't feel good using a company of this sort for anything at all.

A very unique experience. David was an excellent guide. I would recommend it to everyone-even a senior citizen.
