Smile and shake your hand then stab you in the wallet.
When i first called, i talked to a nice old man who said it would be $500 plus $200 deposit to rent for the weekend. Backhoe showed up that Friday afternoon delivered by the son im guessing. The throttle stuck on machine and he had to come back and adjust, but problem still lingered rest of rental time (Also, he was telling about his personal problems, which was a little unprofessional). I had to reach down and pull back gas pedal with hand to throttle down the whole weekend, which was just a little bit annoying. I paid in cash up front, so he said he would use part of my deposit to refuel and bring me the rest back. He did not. I got a call from a woman (probably somebody's wife) (probably the owner of the luxury vehicle parked out back) saying that i owed $213.03. Apparently a weekend is only 4 hours. When i came to settle up, i asked if she was sure this was right. She said yes because you were on weekend time. Weekend time wasn't really made clear to me by anyone. I ended up paying $913 to rent a backhoe for 2 days. Thats a lot especially if the machine isn't 100%. I will NEVER use them, and i will discourage anyone for using them as well. I am still sick to my stomach about it. This all was very stupid on their part because i would have rented again and again if they stuck close to the original price. I have rented the same equipment before and never had this issue. I used them bc they were close a maybe i could have saved on a delivery fee, but that didn't really work out. SHAME.
