This was one of the best food tours we’ve ever taken! The tour provides a great mixture of food types including bagels, Mexican, Cuban, Thai and ice cream. Each restaurant had great food and customer service.

Our guide, Noah, did a great job of sprinkling the Gaslamp Quarter’s historical tidbits in with food facts. He also was very organized and ordered food prior to the upcoming stops. This reduced our wait times at the restaurants.

Our group of guests really bonded during the tour leading to good conversation and made the time feel too short.

If you’re looking for a San Diego food tour, I highly recommend this one.

We've been on several food tours, and this one in the San Diego Gaslamp Quarter was a great one. The food-to-walk ratio was perfect to keep up the appetite, and Noah made it feel like a casual walk with friends. All the food stops were delicious and worthy of repeat visits, and we picked up some extra recommendations around town from Noah and other people on the tour. I'm not one to pick favorites in a sea of great, but the guy at Havana 1920 showed the most hospitality--and made some great cocktails to accompany our empanadas. Beyond food, we really enjoyed the stories at and between tour stops. The description calls it history, but it was really the guide making us part of the memory of this interesting San Diego district.

Hey, today I went on a team building food tour with five other coworkers and two people from New York. We are locals but we learned so much! Not only did we go to different restaurants but the tour guide went through different parts of the Gaslamp and talked about the history of it. We also went into an old hotel, learned about the history of the buildings in the area as well. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and we felt right at home with her.

On April 2024, Noah led a food tour for my coworkers and our associates. Noah is a great tour guide and was attentive and professional. I lived in SD for 9 years and he shared historical trivia that I (and several SD locals) was not aware of. The food was delicious and there was more than enough. We had several different cuisines:
-Greek
-Mexican
-Thai
-Cuban
-Ice Cream

I would highly recommend Noah for any professional or casual event. Thanks Noah!

In March 2024, I used Sidewalk Food Tours of San Diego for my corporate meeting with senior level executives. Sidewalk Tours was professional and easy to work with! The food and restaurants were delicious. Our tour guide, Stefan, is AMAZING!! He was funny, engaging, and knowledgeable about the history of the Gaslamp Quarter.

My clients could not stop raving about how funny Stefan was and how yummy the food was at each restaurant. I would HIGHLY recommend Sidewalk Food Tours and Stefan for your next San Diego adventure. I would 10/10 use them again for future meetings.
