Our first time there today and we will definitely be coming again! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, the outdoor seating was so beautiful. We loved seeing the birds flying all around, and my husband and son enjoyed spotting the turtles too. The music was a vibe. The service was great! Even sitting outside, our server never forgot about us. She was very pleasant and sweet. Another thing my son and I loved was checking out all of the awesome things they have in their shop. It's crazy how many years I've been in Hernando County and only recently found out about this place. It truly is a hidden gem. 100% would recommend this place to EVERYONE! Its pretty great, I only wish I knew about it sooner. Can't wait for the next time! Check them out! You won't regret it. ❤️

Cute little wannabe beachtown restaurant. Its got everything from a restaurant to a souvenier shop and ice cream store.

Its unfortunate how they shut down the outdoor seating even for a light drizzle. The decor is fun and interesting. Idk if there truly are crocs in the river behind, but I would not be surprised. Food is a bit lackluster. Our waiter was scratching their head when asked what dishes are popular here. Apparently none of the seafood is locally caught either. Our hotel front desk recommended the fish sandwich and that's what I went with. I got it blackened but it just lacked enough seasoning for my pallete. Drinks were weak too. Food quality was fine.

But overall, I think the vibe makes up for any shortcomings in food taste.

Update: I went to a breakfast here, and the restaurant is so cute. The tables outside are private and tucked away. We even saw an alligator swimming down the river. The secret garden is so nice. I loved it. The food was good. There are a lot of choices on the menu. Tasted home cooked. I would recommend visiting here if you're looking for a nice meal in a good atmosphere.

What a neat little restaurant! I did not eat here yet (but I was next to the kitchen all day, and it smelled so good). I took part in the art walk that is hosted there 1st Saturdays of the month. When you walk in, they have all kinds of fun beach themed signs, candy, saltwater taffy, and deco, and they even have a poppa Clyde's ice cream shop located in the front. I can't wait to go back and try the food. I'll keep you posted! I went ahead and grabbed shots of the menu for convenience.

I loved this place. Great atmosphere, gift shop area has unique gifts that are affordable, staff is friendly, and the place is clean. The only issue I had was my food was gone when I returned from the restroom. I only ate half my sandwich. We had a large party and overall the waitress did great. My local FL family frequently goes here and they love this place. Highly recommended!!

I really enjoyed this place. The outside patio has a fun tropical vibe. The margaritas were surprisingly delicious and they were also bogo. The lobster was a little dry but all in all was very good. Definitely worth a visit.

This is definitely a must try restaurant, please ask to be seated outside, the atmosphere is really relaxing right on the water and you can feed the turtles walking to your table. The wait was only 15 minutes on a Sunday morning for the outside, no wait to be seated inside. Please close to wait for the outside. The gift shop had a lot of interesting items and local artists items for sale also. I ordered the cab cake eggs Benedict, I have never had this combination before. Very good choice the can cakes were fresh made and had plenty of crab not all filler. I wish the hollandaise sauce had a little bit more lemon would be my only complaint. My wife had the cheese and fruit platter and house salad and my son had the ground steak. The cheese and fruit platter and a wide assortment of cheeses and fruit. Was different but good. Our son like his choice but said it needed more salt. The wait time on the food was a little long, maybe 20 minutes but sitting outside by the water and talking I did not seem to mind. Will definitely come back.

Cozy warerfront place with a nice indoor and outdoor area. They have a little shop, candy and fudge, ice cream, and maybe even and event area. Come feed the fish. I had a turkey club and it was not deli turkey as it had these huge pieces of meat in there. Very nice place.

Great food, service, and view. The corned beef has is some of the best I’ve ever had. They make it with mashed new potatoes. Yum! I highly recommend trying the baked beans with any breakfast dish you choose. So good
