We have nothing but the best things to say about working with Simply From Scratch in the trusting and ever-so-helpful hands of Jennifer and Karen! Not only are they extremely professional, organized, and clear on expectations, but it’s apparent even from your first meeting with this team that they truly love weddings and the couples that they’re working with for such a special day. My husband and I’s main point of contact was Jennifer. From our very first meeting with her, when we were just inquiring about food vendors, Jennifer walked us through all of Simply From Scratch’s services, and we were even offered some samples of food selections that piqued our interest. After hiring them as our caterers, Jennifer provided a detailed schedule of check-in meetings, reassuring us the entire time that they valued our choices and ensuring that our selections were noted. For example, my husband and I are not big cake people, and we knew we wanted pie for our fall wedding instead. Not only was Jennifer delighted by something different, but she and her team came up with the most stunning and delicious pie table for our wedding, complete with pecan pie bites that we still drool over when we think of them to this day! They also worked with us to come up with the yummiest signature cocktails that all of our guests were raving about. And the food itself was AMAZING! The presentation alone was a knockout! The team on our wedding day was also extremely professional and did such a wonderful job setting up, serving all of our guests, and cleaning/packing up everything afterward. Lastly, the team they worked with at Queen Street Linens for the table linens and napkins was just superb. They collectively took our fall color palette for our wedding and executed it beautifully. Hiring Simply from Scratch is a no-brainer - they cover food, dessert, bar, cutlery, and linens, and do it all in such a kind-hearted and professional manner!

We used Simply From Scratch for our wedding on 11/12/22 at Historic Ashland. We cannot say enough good things about them! Jennifer and Karen were so friendly and easy to work with. They easily incorporated some ideas we had such as using amber colored water glasses and having a special beer for the "champagne toast" instead of champagne. They were extremely accommodating for allergies of several guests and were very communicative throughout the whole process. We enjoyed each meeting we had leading up to the wedding day. We especially enjoyed getting to taste test the fabulous mac and cheese! On our wedding day, the food was delicious, the drinks were served quickly, and everyone had a great time! The addition of the soft pretzel bar was a huge hit and my guests are still bringing it up! The ease of Simply From Scratch truly being a one stop shop for catering is so helpful in the wedding planning process. Being able to get linens, dishes, bartenders, food, drinks, and the cake all from one place made for a seamless day and so much less stress leading up to the wedding! My husband and I booked Simply from Scratch for our 10.12.24 wedding through the Barn at Stoneybrooke as one of their recommended vendors. It was absolutely amazing to work with Jennifer! She was so great from start to finish, through all the meetings, emails and appointments. She helped us envision our day & make it so beautiful. She had so many great recommendations to help bring our vision to life. She is so sweet and friendly - we really loved working with her! Everyone loved the food and dessert. We had our Banquet catered by Simply..... The Mac and Cheese was burnt. The Chicken was over cooked and so dry. The Beef was over cooked.The gravy on top was awful and did nothing for the beef. This meal was so disappointing. I would not recommend them at all.

Jen was wonderful to work with, they know what they’re doing and how to cook. I’ve received multiple compliments on the food/service at the wedding and they deserve it all. They also made a beautiful and very tasty custom cake. It’s an all in one service; drinks, food, tableware, and servers/bartenders. Super easy cannot recommend enough.

If you are looking for a caterer for your wedding, BOOK Simply from Scratch. You won’t regret it! Highly recommend!! From the beginning stages of a tasting, to emails ,final menu selections and the service/food day of our wedding was top notch! Jennifer was so helpful and responded to all of my probably way too many emails ! I wouldn’t have wanted any other caterer to work with for our wedding. The staff day of was super friendly and professional. The food was delicious and they were so easy to work with! It was a huge plus that the linens were included with our package and they were beautiful.

Jennifer from Simply from Scratch was ABSOLUTELY amazing!! She was so sweet and easy to work with right from the start. She was so helpful in us making our food and linen choices, and honesty wouldn’t have been as perfect without her help. It top it off the food was so so delicious. There was so many people who cleaned their plates and were raving still days later about the food. Simply from Scratch even packaged up left over food (entrees, side and desserts) Probably the most perfect thing to have the day after your wedding and such a sweet idea. Seriously, if you need a caterer do not hesitate to BOOK THEM! You and your guests will not be disappointed.
