When my wife and I started planning our wedding, we had no clue where to start. We found Social Situations and they just made everything a breeze!
Amanda was awesome to work with and she was so patient when we were still making last minute decisions before our wedding date. She made sure everything went smoothly and stays in contact consistently to keep you up to date on the status of vendors and other wedding preparations.

Honestly the best decision we made was working with Clara and Amanda!

I cannot stress enough the importance of a wedding planner, if you are still contemplating hiring one, STOP AND DO IT. It will be the best investment you make throughout the wedding planning process. I wanted to be able to enjoy myself on the special day and I got just that. We had hired Clara from Social Situations, for our November wedding, and without her our day wouldn’t have been as smooth as it was. Clara is professional, timely, and organized. We had hired her in early February, with a partial wedding planning package but we still had monthly check ins to make sure we were on track. Clara has an incredible wedding planning spreadsheet that was so helpful in keeping myself organized. We also used Social Situations’ sister company, For The Love of Paper for our save the dates and invitations and they came out beautiful. I would hire them again and again.

My husband and I chose to hire Social Situations about 30 days before our wedding day in order to help us with tying up loose ends and getting all the final details organized for our wedding day. It was SO HELPFUL & SO WORTH IT! As most couples will tell you, planning a wedding isn’t an easy task but as most 2020 couples will tell you, planning (and re-planning) a wedding during a pandemic is beyond stressful! Not only were we truly able to just enjoy the final days leading up to our wedding (even though we had to change the location to all outdoors just 3 days before lol!) but most importantly, we were truly able to enjoy our intimate wedding day with our families and relax because we knew we were in such great hands with Social Situations handling all the details. We worked with Amanda Lucio & she was so friendly, so organized and we appreciated her enthusiasm with just rolling with the changes. She made sure all of vendors were on top of it and made sure the day went as smoothly as possible for not only us as the Bride & Groom but even for both of our families as well and we appreciated that so much!

As a planner myself, what impressed me most about Clara & Amanda of Social Situations has been their ability to pivot their business and adapt to the challenges this pandemic has presented for the event industry. They have such a cute storefront & offer many services in addition to their planning & coordination, such as customized gift boxes & favors for your guests and bridal party! Thank you again, Social Situations, for giving us peace of mind on our wedding day, it was truly priceless!

We could not have asked for a better wedding planner! Amanda was a dream to work with. She made everything so easy for us, even through the stress of postponing due to COVID. While planning the wedding Amanda came prepared to our monthly meetings with options for us to decide, and was happy to find another option if something did not suit us. Social Situations used a comprehensive wedding planning spreadsheet that allowed us to track every aspect of the wedding planning. The wedding was held at a private ranch in Fredericksburg and required the coordination of multiple vendors and deliveries. On the wedding day, everything was seamless and perfectly organized. Many of our guests commented on how smoothly the entire event went. Anyone would be lucky to have Social Situations planning their event. Highly recommend!!

Social Situations in Harlingen helped us make our dream wedding into a reality! The Groom and I live in Orlando, so we knew we needed help with our RGV destination wedding. The biggest help was their "Wedding Plan of Action". It kept us on schedule and gave us bite size tasks to make planning easier. Would recommend them any time.
