I cannot recommend SoMa Events enough! Anne Marie, Sara, and their whole team were an absolute pleasure to work with. We brought them in last minute because of some additional needs we had for decor at our wedding, and they were incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the entire process.

Not only were they nice and professional, but they truly went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. Despite all the craziness of the wedding day, we felt so lucky to have their support and expertise.

Overall, SoMa Events exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful for everything they did to make our special day even more beautiful. If you're looking for a wedding vendor who is not only talented but also wonderful to work with, look no further than SoMa Events.

I don't normally write reviews, but I have to recommend AnneMarie and SoMa Events. I hired this company to help coordinate my wedding reception party in Austin, TX.

I wouldn't have made it past the wedding planning process without SoMa Events. They handle every detail (i.e. the catering, the bartender, the decorations, seating, event layout, etc.). I desperately wanted to relax and enjoy my wedding reception party and that's what SoMa Events provides. Working with AnneMarie also made the planning portion enjoyable--AnneMarie catered to my every need/request and I couldn't have been happier with the result.

AnneMarie is an amazingly dedicated wedding planner: she is organized, responsive, and willing to listen to all of your ideas (even if you change your mind a lot like I do). I am so grateful to have worked with AnneMarie for my wedding reception. If you're considering hiring a wedding coordinator, I cannot recommend SoMa Events enough! Thank you for helping make this event perfect for my family 🙂 ?

When planning our wedding, we had originally been assigned a day-of coordinator by our venue. Unfortunately, this individual fell short of our expectations, lacking attentiveness and citing exhaustion from a previous event as the reason for their subpar performance. This is where Anne Marie came into the picture, transforming potential chaos into a flawlessly executed celebration.

From the outset, Anne Marie demonstrated professionalism and a keen eye for detail. She took charge of crafting a coherent timeline, which she followed meticulously throughout the event. Dinner service was seamless under her guidance, a task that often turns problematic in less capable hands.

Our wedding party was sizeable, consisting of 14 members, each with their own needs and schedules. AnneMarie managed this effortlessly, ensuring everyone was where they needed to be without a single hiccup. More personally, she was there for me in a way I hadn't anticipated, helping to bustle my dress and providing much-needed reassurance just before I walked down the aisle.

It’s easy to underestimate the value of a day-of coordinator, to assume all will go well without professional oversight. However, Anne Marie’s performance is a testament to the crucial role such a professional plays in the success of a wedding. She wasn’t just a coordinator; she was a pillar of support for myself and everyone involved.

For anyone on the fence about investing in a day-of coordinator, or those who believe one coordinator is much like another, I urge you to consider Anne Marie. If you are reading this review, you are currently in search of the perfect wedding planner or day-of coordinator and you have no reason to look any further. These ladies are the absolute best. It has been a little over 2 weeks since my wedding and every time I look back on the day, all I can think about is how stress free it was. AnneMarie & Sarah literally took care of EVERYTHING for me & my bridal party. From making sure that our glasses were never empty (including pre-wedding mimosas), that our timeline was followed flawlessly, our meal was able to be eaten with no interruption, that our decor was impecable & venue was flipped perfectly, to making sure that our wedding was everything we dreamed of. They will listen to every detail you request and ask you questions that you would have never thought of yourself. I find myself to be a pretty detail oriented planner, but these 2 blew me out of the water, knowing EVERY LITTLE DETAIL that could have possibly come up that day. When my florist was running late, they contacted the business owner and smoothed everything out so that I didn't have to worry about it. You GUYS...these ladies are the best of the best! I cannot recommend them enough! Dream Come True!
