Brad and his team were absolutely incredible! We hired Southbound to cater our 9/21/24 wedding, and our guests are still raving about the food. From the first inquiry to the big day, Brad was responsive, open to our changes, and clearly passionate about his craft. He made the entire planning process smooth and easy with his knowledge and attention to detail.

As foodies, we wanted a memorable catering experience, and Brad delivered beyond our expectations. He even prepared a tasting tray for us during cocktail hour and ensured we were the first to eat. We’re still dreaming of the brisket, mac and cheese, and crab cake shooters! This won’t be the last time we use Southbound for a special event. Thank you again Brad and team!

Southbound BBQ Company and Brad specifically was absolutely awesome!! We had the food truck for our wedding on 11/2/24 and my husband, our guests and I were all so pleased with the food, service and overall experience. My family and I had a great time at the food tasting a couple of months before the wedding in which Brad was so helpful, responsive and patient with all of our questions and concerns. Brad was always quick to respond via emails as questions came up and on the day of, I did not have a worry in the world due to how great he is at what he does. The food was delicious and everything ran so smoothly. I would 100% recommend Southbound BBQ for your next event and we would gladly work with Brad again in the future!! Everything was perfect.

We were set on having a food truck for our wedding this past September (2023). Southbound was recommended by our wedding venue. We read the reviews and were very impressed. I cannot say enough good things about Brad and his company. They were on top of everything from the start of our wedding planning in April of 2022. He initially did a phone call with me and gave me a great run down of everything. We then met for a food tasting which was a great experience with my dad, husband and mother in law. All of the food was AMAZING. Brad was always quick to respond and always kind. The wedding day went smoothly. I was a bit worried about it taking awhile to get people through the line but that was not an issue at all. So many guests commented on how great the food was. Brad also purchased the utensils that I wanted and dropped them off ahead of time at the venue for us to set up. I 10\10 recommend Brad and his team. Great food and great people!

Working with Southbound BBQ was one of the best parts of my wedding.
Firstly, their pricing is INCREDIBLE. I contacted Brad and his team a year prior to my wedding date, and I knew from the first interaction that they were a great choice. Brad took the time to chat with my Dad and I, walk us through exactly how he prices everything, talked us through all of our options and was extremely flexible in order to make my wedding EXACTLY what I wanted. We ended up feeding 125 guests with PLENTY of leftovers through their food truck. They did e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. Apps, coffee, desserts, food, drinks, bar service, etc... with the food and service I received I would've paid twice what I did and had no problem.
Secondly, the food/service. I come from a family of foodies, so I KNEW my food had to be good at my wedding. When I first came for my tasting 6+ months out I was blown away at how good the food was, and somehow it was 5x better on the day. Despite a tropical storm on my wedding day, his team was fast, efficient, courteous, and food was warm and tasty.
Overall, I never once had a moment where I worried about my catering because I knew "Southbound's got me." They were a 20/10 on my wedding day. They were delightful, and I have recommended to every one of my engaged friends to contact them. Thank you for making my wedding day so special, Southbound!!!

Planning an important event within a short time frame is exciting but it can also be fairly stressful. You have to factor in the time it takes to research vendors, submit requests for proposals, and then actually receive those proposals back.

When it came to the food for our event, I knew I wanted a menu that would be unique and that would lend to a superb dining experience for our guests. Our venue told me that I should checkout Southbound BBQ Company as they were hearing some rave reviews.

Those reviews were so accurate that here I am writing my own rave review!

The response time from Brad upon submitting for a quote was stellar! He reached out quickly via phone and continued to communicate with me via call, text, and email from that moment through the day after the event. Even during the event when we had a few changes with attendees, he was right on top of everything communicating seamlessly between myself and his team onsite.

As for that team onsite, they seriously brought their A game! They were instrumental in setting up the place settings at each table and ran through the night with precision, attention to detail, and stayed true to schedule down to the minute.

The food from Southbound BBQ Company was presented beautifully and was beyond compare. Your soul needs their cooking all up in it! It doesn’t get better than authentic Texas BBQ!!!! I also appreciated their ability to offer many varieties of entrees and sides instead of the classic 2 and 2. To be able to give our guests those options was a brand new experience in my years of planning events. I’ll be dreaming of their mini pulled pork tacos with slaw (which are also adorable!), their herb risotto cakes (have mercy), their mini crab cakes, and the short ribs for evenings to come! By the end of the dinner service there was so much buzz going on about the incredible food and our guests started to ask our team members who our caterer was.

I will continue to confidently refer you to others and look forward to working with you again in the future. I only regret not taking more food photos!
