If you are looking for a gorgeous and peaceful venue, Southern Belle Estates is the place! Our son and daughter-in-law were married there in the fall and the owners went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and that the venue was ready to go. This property exceeded all of our expectations!

This property is absolutely breathtaking! The family that runs everything is one of the most down to earth, accommodating, and hardworking families I have come into contact with. They have thought of everything you could possibly need on your big day! Definitely recommend Southern Belle Estates for your wedding!

Well we booked this for our wedding with many promises the venue would be done. When we check in the property is BEYOND unfinished, and dirty. I spent my first day cleaning up bathrooms, picking up pink eye drops off sinks and trash and random stuff around the house, cleaning dishes, going to get more cleaning supplies to scrub the grounds that were covered in mud, oh and making my own beds for guests. I was horrified to pay more to check in just to clean up a venue that should have been ready for me. I was also told the property would be treated for bugs multiple times and get my guests were CONTINUOUSLY attacked by bugs as well as I had to bring to vaccines to vacuum the million bugs inside the home because I had so many unhappy guests who wanted to leave to stay at my families - down the street- where there were less bugs. So either it wasn’t treated or it was an awful job that brought the bugs to us. Then on our wedding day outlets aren’t working, we’re scrounging to get things ready, our ceremony area isn’t even ready for the things they promised- not even close, let alone the property and guest areas downstairs being ready. After our wedding was supposed to start I’m still calling repeatedly to ask where heaters and everything else we were promised would be out was- as all our guests squish in the unfinished house to use the unfinished bathroom and hide from the rain I’m having to call everyone to get things ready rather than getting to be in the venue area. It’s a beautiful property and the ceremony areas they are building are nice but it’s NOT worth the cost by any means and I would definitely not suggest taking this venues word or promises of what they will do for you- they are nice and family owned but not accountable at all.
