Southern Charm Events was phenomenal from start to finish. Tanya and her team were without a doubt a HUGE help. I had Carla as my day of coordinator and couldn't have been happier with how things turned out. Carla was on speed dial every second of the day leading up to the event and never failed to help where it was needed. She stayed on top of everything, while keeping me calm through the process and assuring me everything was going to be okay. Thank you Carla, and SCE, for making our big day such a hit, can't thank you enough! xo

Absolutely would recommend them to anyone. Tanya and her team were GREAT since the beginning of the planning process. I had Carla as my wedding day manager & I couldn’t have been happier. Her assistant was also extremely nice & helpful. Carla was definitely on top of things and assured that everything went smoothly. She was a gem and was so patient with me. Much Love!

We are extremely thankful for all of the hard work and coordination of Southern Charm events. It can be a bit overwhelming when going through the motions of planning for your wedding day. From our first consultation until the big day, Tanya helped us along the way through each phase of the process making it a fun experience. The coordination between vendors on wedding day was flawless and truly made it to where we could enjoy ourselves.
The one bit of advise we will pass on to our future friends who decide to tie the knot is this…Don’t just get a wedding planner, go with SouthernCharm events because you truly want a “wedding mom” and Tanya was just that. Part of the family.

If you’re on the fence about needing a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, trust me, Tanya and her team are worth every penny! The extensive planning documents and timelines kept us on track and made sure we did not forget anything. Everything flowed smoothly and all of our vendors knew exactly what we wanted, when to show up, etc. Tanya was very professional, organized and able to resolve any questions or concerns we had quickly! We so appreciate all of her help and guidance over these past several months. Our wedding would not have been anywhere near as smooth and perfect without her help.

I worked with Tanya and Jess for my wedding and they were so helpful, easy to communicate with, knowledgeable and both so kind! they were in top of every detail for the entire wedding process to ensure the smoothest wedding day possible! Jess assisted with specifically all things wedding day and the decor setup was absolutely incredible! i gave her my items and my vision and she ran with it! Jess checked in with us all night to make sure we had everything we needed like food and drinks and keeping the schedule on time at the same time! we even had a personal connection with Jess that truly blew us away and made that particular setup with her and us meant to be and i’ll be grateful to her and souther charm events team forever for helping us with the wedding of our dreams!

Tanya is a fantastic wedding planner. Every detail was covered and she made my wedding fairytale come true! I gave her my ideas and she ran with it. She knew exactly what to do to make the final touches perfect on the decorations. She put everything up and tore it all down by the end of the night. It was organized and packed correctly. Tanya was easy to work with and was even my voice of reason many times during the planning process. She’s a true professional and I’m grateful to call her a friend!

Jess and Tanya with Southern Charm Events were wonderful and helped us plan an amazing wedding! We had to postpone due to the Pandemic, and they were there every step of the way to put our minds at ease and work with our other vendors to help secure a new date.

They had great local suggestions for other vendors that you think of last minute (ice, linens, etc.) and have great relationships with a lot of the key players in Jacksonville. They also have a fantastic, streamlined planning process to help couples think of all the important details.

Jess handled everything day of and thought through every scenario for us, making sure things moved smoothly. She was professional, kind and supportive and a blessing to have at our wedding!

Under my Wedding Officiant name, Just UnI Weddings, I was contacted by Tanya, To officiate the wedding of a wonderful couple from St. Croix, USVI. Working with Tanya was a true pleasure. I was able to meet the couple, sit down and discuss what they were interested in, set up, zoom meetings, and get prepared for a wedding that I thought was completely completely top flight. Indeed, what a beautiful experience, and very well coordinated. Tanya Hendrix, Of southern charm events, really put on the Ritz, and then some. I would highly recommend her for anybody in Duval, Clay, Glenn, St. Mary’s, St. John’s, and all areas between she is definitely your Wedding Coordinator. A true joy to work with.
