Beautiful park with well-maintained, easy to navigate hiking trails, many picnic areas and a pretty little waterfall and covered bridge. Great for families and dogs (on leash). Seems to be a popular fishing spot as well.

I love walking and exploring in this park. It is so beautiful and truly magical in the fall and winter seasons. There is so much to look at. I wanted to share some winter photos of this magical place. If you like nature, then you will definitely enjoy this location.

This park is just lovely. The parking lot is somewhat small, so it fills up quickly. The park isn’t too big, so turnaround doesn’t seem too bad.
There is a waterfall and bridge, both of which are visible from the road.
There are trout to be caught, as I saw some caught and released, which I thought was considerate. Word on the street is the fish were hitting the Power Bait.
There is a tower there, but we didn’t go there, but instead found a frog marsh that was rather bustling while we were there. It was very noisy because there were so many frogs.
Good times…

Nice park for a hike on the Loop Trail or picnic. Trail is 1.7mi and crosses impressive waterfalls, a covered bridge, and a short boardwalk. It's a little steep and rocky, and needs some maintenance, but if you follow the trail marks on the trees you won't get lost. The fire tower is underwhelming.
