We booked this hotel without great expectations, but found it a warm and welcoming space. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay--from the wonderful woman who ran the breakfast bar to the front desk staffer who walked us to the back door to show us a shortcut to get to the restaurant where we had reservations, to the staff member who brought us a new remote and stayed to make sure it worked. ||The rooms were quite large, with seating space, which was nice for socializing with our friends across the hall. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and everything was spotlessly clean. We had a minor issue with leaky faucet, which was fixed when we called attention to it. ||The location is good, especially for sports fans. it was a 15 or so minute walk to restaurants downtown, a couple minutes' walk to the Andy Warhol Museum, so overall a great location. The breakfast bar was good, with real oatmeal, and a toppings bar for a healthy breakfast, plus eggs and sausage. The attendant was such a warm and genuine person who really cares about guests and took great pride in keeping everything stocked and spotless. ||Note: this is very close to the Pirates' baseball stadium, and I suspect this area gets loud and busy when there is a game, so may want to check the schedule before booking.

Great clean hotel. Stayed in a King suite.
Pros: staff was friendly, kind, and so helpful. Breakfast was a good standard hot breakfast with enough options. And staff did their best to keep everything stocked, even at its busiest.
Location was great, close to the subway in the fare free zone. Parking was on site.
Cons: lighting in the room was a bit dim, especially the mirror for the bathroom sink area. Not good for makeup. No fan in the shower/toilet room.
Only 2 elevators... When both are working I'm sure it's sufficient most of the time, but one was out of service on Sunday morning. With people checking out and also coming down for breakfast we waited 20 minutes twice to get down from the ninth floor. Things break, it happens. It was an inconvenience, that's all.
Would probably be a bit of a different experience when the pirates are playing across the street, but in the off season, this was a great find and a great experience overall.

I thought I was getting an amazing deal on a typical Spring Hill Suites. What I actually got was a fair deal on a hotel comparable to the upper end of the Comfort Inn. (This hotel is not up to typical Spring Hill standards.)||To be clear: I am happy with my stay here. I got a big, comfortable room for a fair price. I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't get the amazing deal I thought I was getting; but, I did get what I paid for. ||The good:|* The room was large and comfortable. (I like the separate sitting area.) |* The location is excellent. |* The room was clean and comfortable.||These are the little things that make this hotel more like the Comfort Inn than the other Spring Hill properties I've stayed at.|* There was peeling wallpaper in my room, |* The shower temperature and pressure were just ok, |* You had to hold the handle to get the toilet to flush.|* Breakfast was good, but not excellent (as has been the case at other Spring Hill suites).||Overall, the negatives didn't really detract from the stay. I would happily stay here again at the same price. Just realize that you are getting a good price for a comfortable hotel, as opposed to a "steal" for a typical Spring Hill Suites.

Perfect location next to PNC park and a nice view of the highway. Also a short walk across the bridge to downtown. We got here early to drop our bags off and were able to check in before 10am. Great service and had no issues with the rooms! Would stay again.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Our check in time was at 4 and our room was not available until after 7 pm. The lady at the front deck was beyond appalling to deal with and literally threw my room keys at me when we finally were able to go to our room. They were offering no explanation. Once we got into our room, there were wet spots in the floor, dirty pillows, the tv didn’t work, nor the microwave. If I could rate this a 0 I would. Only good thing about it was the location.

A little tired & dated. Bathroom needs an update. Had to ask for hand soap. Staff friendly & quickly responsive. Scrambled eggs at breakfast tasted weird, maybe powdered? But quiche was tasty. Clean. Pool looks nice. Convenient to have laundry on site. Across the way from the stadium. Duquesne incline is less than 2 miles away.

We had a pleasant overnight stay in February 2025. A lot of families with children were staying at the hotel, but hall noise was not a big issue. Swimming pool was heated and the breakfast was filing. There is a parking fee to park in the hotel lot.

Great location for games, eating, touring. Staff was inattentive and we felt rushed when talking to them. They really didn’t seem to want to be bothered. We stayed two nights and housekeeping never came to our room after the first night. Therefore, beds weren’t made (not a priority for me), no fresh towels, coffee replacement, etc. with that said, it was Christmas, so hotel may have been short staffed. However, customer service was subpar. Lighting was also terrible in the room and bathtub faucet was about to come off the wall. Overall, a decent experience as we didn’t need anything fancy, but customer service was a huge disappointment.
