We stayed here for 3 nights and had a very good experience. This is a wonderful hotel. The free breakfast is excellent! The rooms are large and well designed. Everything is clean and organized.
Here are a couple comments meant to help the staff in case they are useful:
-On one of the evening meals the cook prepared some black beans that were undercooked, I still ate some and got an indigestion because of that. Every other food we tried in the hotel was great. I don't know what happened with those beans. But it's kind of dangerous to serve undercooked beans.

-Our room still had a little bit of a bad smell. It wasn't a big deal for us and it did not change our perception of how great this hotel is. My wife thinks it might be the carpet that needs change. I don't know. But in case you want to check it out it was room 102.

Again, this is an amazing place, thank you for such a great service at an affordable price.

I really enjoyed my stay! From the staff, to the room, to the pool, to the scenery.... It was all perfect! I stayed in the King Suite and it was better than expected. The kitchenette was fully stocked with dishes and all, and the refrigerator with ice tray/bucket and a water pitcher. I stayed a week and what better way to vacay... I felt at home. Although I was on the first floor, there was still a clear view of Lake Hamilton and there's so much to do in the area...I really enjoyed my stay!

Great choice for the money. The complimentary breakfast was really good offering eggs, meat, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, waffles, fruit, juices every morning. My husband especially liked that the pop machine was working during the breakfast so he was happy. We had requested a water view but unfortunately the room they gave us had electrical poles and trees obstruction most of our view. We could still sit outside and eat our breakfast overlooking the lake. Hotel was clean & updated. I would definitely stay here again if we were to return to the area.

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. The staff is excellent! They have the best waffles, and fruit was always fresh. I was really surprised with their breakfast spread every morning and dinner spread. Everything was great. I'll definitely look for a Staybridge Suit before booking anywhere else.

Upon checking into the hotel we were greeted by a gentleman who was unsure about anything at the property, was not even greeted as a Diamond Elite member. When walking to the room in the hallway it was very warm. There was a thermostat for the hallway, but it was in a lockbox and not actually connected, it was just lying in the box not turned on. When walking into the room and checking it out, we found out there was no mattress protector on the bed to protect from bed bugs, we pulled the seams up from around the mattress and could not find any indications there were any, thankfully. The ice machine did not work in the room, nor did any of the other ice machines on property work. When letting the front desk know, he responded with ‘yeah everyone has told me that, I don’t think they have them turned on. You can try the 3rd floor for ice.’ The 3rd floor ice machine was completely covered in mold and no ice came out, not that I would have collected any if it did dispense it. After checking out, and being told they were unable to produce a receipt, we were charged a damages fee. When calling the hotel, I was informed we ruined the linens/bedding with a pet pee stain. Prior to leaving as a courtesy to the housekeeping department, all linens were stripped and all towels/wash cloths/bath mats were piled on the bed. I’m assuming the damp wash cloths were what caused the ‘pee stain’. While on the phone to inquire about the charges, I was just told ‘you were just charged for linens/bedding. I’m just the front desk I can’t give you any information. The manager is not here, and I can’t give you in any information about them or when they will be back.’ As a former hotel General Manager, I find this completely unacceptable. My name was always able to be given out, and there was always a Manager on Duty, if I was away from the property. After reading other reviews, it seems management is lacking for this hotel.

I just want to give the hotel a good review and public apology! The person staying with me has found the charger(it's always great when the kids unpack for you and don’t know and they hide it) it’s was a huge miss understanding! Thank you for everything yall did! The room was nice and we had a great wedding weekend!

100% will stay here again!! Full warning, they do advertise a queen sized bed for most rooms. It was not a queen, more like a full. I will specifically request the bed size when I stay again
Location was so nice, pool was renovated and clean, breakfast was yummy!

I've stayed here once. Front desk was un-accommodating.
Don't try to check in a minute before 4pm. Won't happen. I guess all rooms are ready at once at that time.. Don't bother asking for lake view (I'm sure many do) I was told they had no way of knowing what rooms have what view. Perhaps true but dumb. I ask for a room with 2 beds & was told when using points no upgrades were allowed. I offered to pay for an upgrade. Denied. Seems rewards members might be treated better. I did not feel like a valued member at all. I won't stay again

Hotel management reached out to me to apologize which I appreciate. They deposited 2k points back into my account ( I used 20k ish for the stay)
