We had great success at Stetsons thanks to our fishing guide, Marty. It was great to have someone who knew the river, was a master at navigating in unpredictable waters, and helped fill our limit before lunch.

Stetson's grounds we're well kept, our cabin was clean, and the beds were comfortable.

One thing to note is that many area attractions and restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. There's not a whole lot to do in the area besides fishing.

If the pool is important to you, ask ahead to verify it will be open. It was still closed for the season during the last week of March.

this is the second year we've held our customer appreciation outing at Stetson's and we will continue for as long as I'm in business. Great setting, food, staff, guides couldn't be better. These folks are the tops.

Really nice cabins. Porches with fantastic views of the river and wildlife. Plenty of seating provided for the porches and fire side sitting areas (huge plus for that). Rented a boat and enjoyed fishing. Staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. My wife and I went as a weekend getaway, and we would definitely bring the kids.

This was our third trip here this year. We have enjoyed it every single time and continue to find things we love about it. The atmosphere is so relaxing, the accommodations are perfect for us, the grounds are always so clean, access to the river effortless, the staff is agreeable and attentive and we will continue to return and enjoy it all! A perfect 10! ||We commend the owner for the caliber of every employee we had the pleasure of chatting with: Charles, Josh, Gary and Remington. The employees far exceeded the professionalism we've experienced elsewhere.||We booked a cabin for a week - the cleanliness is as close to a 10 as you can get. The beds, furnishings and appliances were all exceptionally clean and comfortable.||The location on the White River is peaceful and serene (until a motorboat goes cruising by).||We purposely booked at a slower time (March 2024) and it paid off with the quiet solitude of the pristine grounds. ||My husband loved the location and being able to flyfish from the rivers edge.||Needless to say, we will be back in the near future.||Thank you for a great reprieve from Dallas.||Ctyankee (and all)

We loved the beautiful nature around and the clean room with all the necessaties provided.

The reson that we gave 1 as to the service is because we want to warn people to be aware of the danger in renting a boat without a guide. The White river dam opens daily and is extremely dangerous. We were not adequately warned and prepared about the dangers of the river. The only instruction we got was to pull the anchor up and set it inside the boat when the water rises.

That we did but what they did not tell us was that if the rented boat had any resistance it would flip. Well it did. The moment the boat touched a private dock, our rented boat capsized within 2 seconds and we were under freezing water.
Afterward we were told that this has happended in previous years and a person died. We had to pay $6,767.04 including boat recovery fee of $1,500 plus an additional $3,495 to replace the motor.

We have stayed here multiple times in the last several years and have had nothing but the best experience. The staff immediately tends to any needs and always has had any special requests (extra tables/chairs, etc) ready for us when we arrive. The cabins are very well-stocked, and the beds and furniture are comfortable. It feels like "home" every time we visit!

Being able to stop off the river to take a break, enjoy free coffee, and use nice restrooms is an unbelievable service rarely seen by businesses along the river. I bought merchandise in the shop to return the favor of our church kayaking group using the facilities while on a 10-mile float. Stopping here for the first time, it was a great to see a nice landing, ample parking, friendly staff, clean rooms, nice bathrooms, fair prices in the shop, and just a wonderful layout overall. My family will be returning, and we'll promote your business because of what you offer to river goers for free. Thank you for giving the community a place to rest and recharge!
