Stone House was incredible. They opened their doors at for FHN to take Prom pictures since the venue was not booked that night. It was pouring rain and flooding but they saved the day! They were even mopping up flooding inside while kids took pictures. Such a sweet crew to help out our kids! This is a wonderful business in our community. The buildings are absolutely gorgeous. Wish I was having a wedding to get married there. Thank You Stone House for making the best night possible even with the floods.

To say our experience with The Stone House of St. Charles was perfect, would be an understatement. From the moment we booked the location, Ruth and Mike were responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond. The venue is immaculate, beautiful, and VERY WELL maintained. Ruth as a day of coordinator, NAILED IT. She knows exactly what she’s doing and she is focused on the needs of the bride and groom. Ruth makes sure that your little moments and special touches, happen. I might be the first bride to say, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING went wrong on my wedding day. And that is 100% due to Ruth, Mike, and their preferred vendors. Everyone who joined us for our wedding day was VERY well cared for and gave nothing but extremely positive feedback. If you are a bride looking for a unique, beautiful, and historical venue that will also be a one stop shop with ALL of the perks, look no further. If I could go back, I would choose this venue again and again and again. It was the perfect venue for us and we are filled with pride over being able to host our wedding at such a wonderful location.

The Stone House of St. Charles is a magnificent wedding venue that we highly recommend! The staff was friendly, everything was nice and clean and for a wedding photographer, there was so many great spots for photos. Our experience was top notch, check them out!

The Stone House of St. Charles is an absolute dream venue, and I cannot recommend it enough for anyone planning their special day. Ruth, one of the owners, is simply amazing. Her organization, attention to detail, and calm, cheerful personality make the entire experience seamless. She ensures every detail is handled with care, and her dedication shines through in every interaction.

The venue itself is breathtaking. You can tell it was designed with weddings in mind—the elegance, charm, and historical significance make it such a unique and special place. The beauty of the Stone House, from the stunning Sycamore Hall with its gorgeous stained glass windows to the cozy sunroom filled with natural light, added so much to our day. Even in January, the space felt warm and inviting, and the sunroom provided the perfect spot for photos without freezing!

One of my favorite aspects of the Stone House was how accommodating it was for everyone, including the kids at our wedding. Our one-year-old son, Kolton, was able to use the rooms for naps and quiet time, and there were private spaces for breastfeeding and breaks for anyone who needed them. It’s the little things like this that make the Stone House such an incredible venue.

The layout of the venue is perfect. The bride and groom can get ready in separate spaces that are close enough to coordinate but far enough apart to preserve the excitement of the first look. My husband and his groomsmen loved the groomsmen’s quarters, and it was easy for us to care for our son without seeing each other before the ceremony. Everything was thoughtfully planned.

Ruth’s team, along with the incredible vendors she works with, made the day effortless. You can tell they have a great relationship and know how to work together flawlessly. They handled everything seamlessly, from flipping the room for the reception during cocktail hour to coordinating with the quartet playing music. They even made sure our champagne was moved after the ceremony so nothing was wasted and our guests could enjoy it during the reception.

The staff went above and beyond. They cleaned up after our breakfast in the kitchen, handled every request with ease, and communicated with me to ensure I was comfortable with any last-minute changes. They ended the wedding exactly when I asked, even though we ran a little later than planned, and were so flexible and kind about it.

The design options provided by the Stone House are incredible. They offer so many free decor pieces that you could honestly plan an elegant wedding without bringing in anything extra. Every detail was perfect, from the gorgeous lights in Sycamore Hall to the way the space smelled of rich, beautiful wood. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue, and we felt so lucky to be surrounded by such beauty.

Ruth and her team gave us the space to enjoy our day fully, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From start to finish, everything about the Stone House was perfect. Ruth, her family, and her team are truly incredible, and they made our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more.

If I could do it all over again, I would 100% choose the Stone House of St. Charles. Thank you, Ruth, for your hard work, dedication, and kindness. You made our day unforgettable, and we will cherish it forever.

Stone House of St. Charles was the perfect venue for our August wedding. The property is stunning and speaks for itself, but Ruth, Mike and their team could not have been more amazing to work with! They made sure everything ran smoothly and took care of all the setup/take down so we were able to spend more time enjoying the day with friends and family. Ruth also has a huge selection of decor available to use; candles, vases, greenery, signage, etc, which you won't find anywhere else.

Gorgeous venue to host a wedding or special event. I love how there is plenty of parking and the layout of the house and other facilities. The owner was so generous to allow our kids to take prom pictures during the horrible storms we had. She did this out of the goodness of her heart and made so many great memories for the kids. What a great venue for our community, but even more, what a great owner. Thank you so much. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the young ladies in prom dresses come back to Stone House in their wedding dress in a few years😀.

Please bear with me. I am really late with this review! Mrs. Ruth and Mr. Mike are nothing short of amazing! The Stone house of Saint Charles was more than we could have ever imagined for our wedding day. Mrs. Ruth had our payments split up what our vision was, but took all of our input and used it. We barely had to provide any type of decorations or anything because she has everything! The bridal suite was so beautiful and accommodating for my bridal party and my mom And, everyone that was a part. What stood out the most is that all the places we visited no one had A grooms quarters. The grooms quarters with everything that I could’ve imagined for my husband. It gave him a space to relax to have time to commune with a part of our wedding party while he had the opportunity to relax as well. We wanted our wedding to be outside, but it was too windy that day, but Ruth and Mr. Mike made everything happen and it was nothing short of the best day of our lives. it’s now July 11 and even now to this day people are still calling me about our wedding venue and everything that happened at our wedding from Mrs. Ruth having everything in order to provide the DJ the bartenders were wonderful and everything started on time and was in order. Thank you so much. I recommend this and give give it a 10 I know there’s only five stars but we definitely give it a 10 I wish I could share the video!

Thank you to everyone at the Stone House of St. Charles for making our wedding day perfect. The whole day ran smoothly and was safely put into Ruth and her teams hands. I felt completely at ease. Her whole team was kind and patient. Ruth was even willing to assist in bustling my dress… it was complicated and needed all hands on deck.
All of our guests have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. DJ Row did an amazing job with the music and announcements. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and all the parts of the reception… I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I have a tremendous appreciation for all that they did to make our wedding day go just right. I would highly recommend the Stone House of St. Charles to everyone. Please be respectful of the venue, and be a kind person.
