Such an amazingly delicious day - tasting our way through the Philadelphia Italian Market! Chef Jacquie made the journey that much more enjoyable sharing the history of the area, its culture and cuisine. Her personal stories and welcoming nature make this tour something special. I highly recommend!!!! This was my Christmas gift to my dear friends and it was a huge hit!!!

We loved our tour of and food from Philly's Italian Market led by Chef Jacquie. In the past, we've enjoyed a number of wonderful food, history and art tours in both Europe and North America and we feel that this one is among the top 5 % in every aspect. Jacquie explained to us in wondrous detail the waves of Italian immigrants to Philly and the rich tapestry of culinary, history, language, faith & social traditions which arrived with them. Chef Jacquie really personally knows dozens of local business people who just love Jacquie & made us feel welcome like family in their businesses. Also we felt special while being shown both historic & new murals in the neighborhood and going into an Italian cookbook shop(we bought a new book that is perfect for our tastes). Jacqie got us delicious savory & sweet foods to sample which could not have been better. Simply said we loved it all!

The Italian Market Food tour with Chef Jackie was an amazing experience. She was so fun, informative, and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. The Italian Market was such an incredible experience. Never seen any place lie it. The tour lasts about 2 1/2 hours. There are a few times to sit down so you weren't on your feet the entire time. You will not leave hungry. My favorite stops were Paisano's for the Porchetta Sandwich and the Sicilian Cannoli. If you are in Philly and have some free time you have to book this tour.

We attended the StrEATS of Philly food tour of the Italian Market over the weekend, and Chef Jacquie did not disappoint! Super fun afternoon for family & friends - charming neighborhood, great food/tasting/shops and strolling/learning was awesome! Jacquie's natural likability, knowledge of area and pride in communities' chefs/staff is really inspiring! I will definitely come back to many restaurants on own and take Jacquie's tours again with visitors &/or besties... special occasion or just Girls' Day Out! Also, Jacquie & chefs very sensitive to food allergies/issues. Come hungry...lots of Yummy Tastings!

We had the most wonderful tour today to the Italian market with Jacquie Peccina-Kelly and her lovely assistant Jean. Not only was the tour fascinating, Jacquie knew every single vendor and store owner, but she’s so adorable and funny that it makes the whole thing seem like a big party. Her knowledge of the history of the Italian market is enormous and she relates it in such a fun way. I highly recommend you take this wonderful tour and to taste the flavors of Philadelphia.
