This company was amazing to work with. They came through with everything my wife and I wanted for our sons graduation party. The employees were super polite and asked my wife and I exactly where did we want the Tent, Tables lights etc. I would strongly recommend them. Writing as a family member of this event: Unfortunately, the communication with this company was very subpar. We were told that we would have our tent and tables setup “late afternoon” the day before our event, as it was an early morning shower. I explained that family was traveling to help get the area decorated and ready for the next morning and was assured everything would be set up the day before. We waited around most of the day and after not hearing any update from the company, decided to reach out to ask where they were. We called multiple times, left voicemails, and sent texts messages. We finally received a causal text at 8 PM saying set up would occur first thing the next morning, which was the day of the shower, which was frustrating since we had discussed that setup would occur the day prior. It would have been different if someone communicated to us that there would be a delay but we sat around for hours waiting for them to arrive. When they arrived to set up the tent the next morning, they set the tent up and left without assembling the tables and chairs. They were left on the ground for us to set up ourselves. Very dissatisfied and will be using again.

Doesn't pay his vendors for services rendered. We did a couple of jobs with them as we used to rent luxury restroom trailers. We would get payment upfront however, one time we weren't able to coordinate in advance so, rather than ruin someone's event, we did our part and then were never able to get in touch with them again to get the money for our service. Never responded to countless calls, texts, or emails. Beware

Very disappointed scheduled for a surprise party to be there between 9-930am at 9:35 I messed to find out their eta. He told me they were loading up. Party needed to be set up and ready for 1045. Told me they wouldn’t. Be there for an additional 45 mins and it would take no more than 20 to set up. On our first conversation he told me and hour to set up. We would of had to wait to set up all the decorations until the guest of honor was showing up. He didn’t even have the decent to call or message to let me know he was going to be hours late. Very disappointed and most def don’t use their services. Than he told me they don’t normally do weekend rentals and he was doing me a favor which was also bs. Don’t rely on this business

DO NOT RENT from Sunshine Tent Rentals (aka Sunshine Tent & Party Rentals). They are unreliable. They are liars. And they will only frustrate you and cause you unnecessary stress that you do not need on the day of your event, especially on your wedding day. They only want your money but will not deliver on the service. Here is my experience renting tables, chairs, and tents from them for our wedding and wedding reception. I have text messages and emails from Matthew Moylan (owner) to back all of this.

First lie from Sunshine Tent Rentals: “No we don’t carry those.” That was their response to me asking about bamboo chairs, which we wanted for our wedding. Come to find out that was a lie – here are the chairs posted on their website and listed as “available in White or Gold.”

Second lie from Sunshine Tent & Party Rentals: I asked about the “10% Spring Fling” discount on entire rental posted on their website. Matthew Moylan told me, “Are you sure you are looking at the correct website? I don’t recall that on our site.” So, I sent him a screen grab of the page on their site. His response? “That’s Massachusetts company. Their prices are much higher.” That was also LIE. Sounds familiar? It’s the same company!

Third lie from Sunshine Tent Rentals: “We can deliver on June 21.” Our wedding was the afternoon of June 22. We agreed that Sunshine Tent Rentals will deliver and setup on the 21st to allow the people who are decorating time to do the decorations.

We agreed they are to arrive at 3pm on Friday, June 21, 2019. On June 19, Matthew Moylan texted me they are planning on “setup tomorrow” meaning Thursday, June 20. The problem is we reserved the venue from Friday starting at 3! I told him that was not our agreement and that we will not even be at the venue on June 20th because someone else was having their wedding at the venue at that time. I insisted we must stick to the date and time we agreed on. He said they will be there on Friday for set up but if it could be earlier that would be great. I told him the earliest we can be at the venue is 2pm on Friday. So, we agreed for them to come at 2pm on Friday.

At 1:59pm I texted him that my fiancé is at the venue waiting for them. Matthew Moylan texted back at 2:00pm, “Ok heading there shortly. Loading up. Rain delayed us.” At 5:48pm they still are not at the venue! Matthew Moylan texted me “On our way down there. Saying 38mins.” By now we are losing day light quickly. And by 6:30pm, they were still not at the venue!

They finally got there at 7:12pm. I asked Matt if they will be able to finish setup. He said, “yes, it should only take about 2.5hrs.” By 9:30 they were still not done. The poles were not even done being put together, so the tent was not up, the tables and chairs for 170 guests were still piled up in stacks. He finally admitted by 10:00pm that they were not going to be able to finish setting up on Friday. So, to make up for it he promised they will be there bright and early, between 6 and 7am on Saturday, the day of our wedding to finish setting up.

On our wedding day, Saturday, they did not show up until 11am! Our wedding was at 3 in the afternoon. By the time they finished setting up, we only had about 1.5hr to do decorations and be ready. This was immensely stressful for us, on top of all the other stresses we were feeling on our wedding day.

Sunshine Tent & Party Rentals are unprofessional, unreliable, and very dishonest. Do not pay them unless they deliver the service they promised. Get everything in writing, by email, text or on the quote you receive from them. Needless to say, I’d never rent from Sunshine Tent Rentals again. But if you could learn from our experience, you would save yourself time, stress, and money.

Just suggested them to my customer for a last minute event. They showed up as promised - very professional. The owner Matt introduced himself to my customer and delivered all the items and had spare items for last minute changes she requested.
Last thing I wanted was to look bad in front of my fortune 50 company - came out smelling like roses. Thanks.
