The location is perfect it's near a home depot which is ideal for our renovation project when we come into town. Also they had a waffle maker for the continental breakfast....perfect nice touch. And washer and dryer on second floor. I loved my stay here. I will reserve a stay here every time I come to johnstown PA. THANK YOU 😊

We knew this was a budget hotel. Check in was easy. We were in a rush so when we got our room we went there dropped our stuff off quick and had to head back to the wrestling tournament. Upon walking the hall to our room there was a funky smell that is hard to explain but it wasn’t a good smell. Our room was so hot and smelled off. We tried to turn the ac unit on but it didn’t work. We saw there was a window so we opened that. I’m pretty sure that is a safety hazard because we were on the 3rd floor and the screen didn’t fit the window properly. It looks like it has been punched in and out of windows repeatedly and the frame was bent. We let it go because we knew there were no other hotels within an hour due to the multiple events happening that weekend and we were in a rush to get to the tournament. When we came back after the tournament my son took a shower. While in the bathroom we noticed there was black mold in the bathroom and there was a burnt mark on the sink and a hole on the outside of the bathroom door. There were black specs of stuff all over the wall. The light was so dim you could barely see in the bathroom. When my son pulled down his sheets there were black ‘things’ all over the sheets and underside of the blankets. They didn’t look like bugs but when you touched them they were oily, hard and gross looking. They almost looked like the things on the bathroom walls. My son went downstairs and asked for new bedding and the gentleman told him he could only give him sheets because there was no housekeeper. While in the room I already took all bedding off the mattress and on the mattress pad on the bed was a nice fresh stain what looked like spilled coffee. I took pictures of everything and went downstairs to show the guy and ask for bedding because we didn’t bring extra blankets of anything. He again told me housekeeping was not there but it was on the list. He did give me a blanket. We debated just sleeping in our car but it was cold that night and we had no other hotel to go to. We slept the best we could. Breakfast options were minimal. We went to the tournament and our room looked made up when we returned. However I looked on the floor and there was an unwrapped candy bar that was not ours on the floor so we knew it couldn’t have been that cleaned. The sheets never got changed on my son’s bed the housekeeper just made the bad the same disgusting stained bed pad was still there. I again called other hotels in the area but there were no opened rooms. We couldn’t wait to check out on Sunday. Would never stay here again.

I stayed here for seven nights. The place was very clean. It was quiet. The bed was so comfortable, I didm't want to get up each morning. Breakfast was good. It consisted of yogurt, waffles, toast, butter and jelly, orange or apple juice, cereals, fruit, coffee and tea. They provide a complimentary local newspaper. My compliments to Vishal and his staff who attended to all my needs and always greeted me with cheerful words and a smile! I will be back.

I will leave my previous review up just to show both experiences, this will be long i apologize lol
but I stayed here October 18-19th. My boyfriend and I are both in the army guard and travel for drill with our dog. Which has never been an issue in the past, and I make sure to call before leaving our home. We both work as truck drivers on the civilian side and got off of work late that Friday and after traveling got in at 1am for check in, just to be told that suddenly the pet policy had changed and my dog cannot be in the room by himself at any point. They did not inform me when I called prior. He is a rescue from overseas and is scared of new people, however in every other way is well behaved and calm. Workers were always very kind towards him in the past. Our unit is 3 minutes down the road from this hotel so it was always so convenient to check on him through the work day. Due to the new policy and not being told before traveling and having no time to find another option for my dog or even make the drive back home I had to bring my dog to my work with me where he had to sit in my running car all day. I was very frustrated but tried to make this work. When we got back to the hotel room after being released we realized the room was extremely muggy and had mist all over the windows. Looking around we saw excessive mold covering the walls, inside the AC unit and all over the window seals. I still have the photos and if I can figure out how to attach I will. We didn’t realize how bad it was the first night due to getting in so late, having all of the stress added, and being sleep deprived. They thankfully refunded me for the second night I had booked after a lot of tense back and forth and we made the drive back home since every other hotel was booked. But honestly the staff was so terrible this time around and I will never be back here with how they treated us. I try to be very lenient, I know this hotel isn’t meant to be a resort but I can’t express how terrible the conditions were and how rude they were over us speaking up. Would not recommend them from here on and will not be telling new soldiers coming in to stay here every month.

I come here most months due to the convenient location being down the road from my unit! Every time I come here the staff is so friendly and helpful to both me and my dog.
This weekend they were even booked up and the kind lady on the phone (I wish I could remember her name!) took my number down and gave me a call later in the day to help make sure I got a room.(: It is a beautiful suite and I’m so thankful for her help and going beyond. I also want to thank Vishal for the warm check in tonight! He was so so nice and helpful. Definitely some of the best customer service at this location and I will continue to come back during my training weekends(: Thank you guys!! 🫶

They also do military discount for anyone wondering!

I travel all over with my job and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. This one is off the chain when it comes to friendliness and hospitality! The front desk staff treated me better than family and my room was super clean and bed slept great! Very quiet at night with awesome restaurants very close by! I will definitely stay here again when I’m back in town!

The manager and staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. Our room was excellent, clean and well maintained.
We came from NJ to Johnstown for a family emergency and this was the only hotel that accepted pets and give us a decent room. Not one other hotel in the area would do that even though they advertised as such.
The manager himself made sure that our stay was a comfortable one.
