My sisters and I bought tickets to take a bus trip to NYC several months in advance. We bought Broadway and museum tickets for the day of as well so we'd have stuff to do while we were there.

The trip is 5/27 and today 5/18 we were told the bus trip is cancelled due to "not enough people". This is unacceptable and ridiculous. I will never recommend this company to someone or ever buy bus tickets again due to the unbelievable level of unreliability. Horrible company

Susquehanna provided shuttles for our wedding guests from the hotels to the venue. It was so nice not having to worry about people driving and knowing they were in good hands. They were right on time and very easy to work with even when we had to change dates for Covid. It was super easy to schedule and everything went off without a hitch!

I'm on my first bus trip and the bus I'm on sucks. There is no phone charges some of the seats the backs won't adjust, others the padding is worn out from people sitting on them. 2 of the tv's don't work and the bus is just worn out. How ever Joann our bus driver. was great.

NEVER EVER AGAIN !!!
The bus had a breakdown during the ride to NYC, this could have been prevented if the bus driver would have checked the bus before he started driving. We had to wait multiple hours for a replacement bus. During this waiting period the staff did not give us any information and they did not even try to communicate with us. In the end we arrived 3 or 4 hours too late in NYC and these hours were stolen form our very limited time we have been in NYC. In addition the staff did not even apologised for their mistake and one staff member was very unkind when I said that this is not ok and I expected better service for more than 100 Dollars fro the ride! I still wait for my refund...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HIGH PRICES! Not every experience is bad, and some drivers are very friendly. However, I've received horrendous customer service from all levels of the company. They have rude people working at all levels of the company: phone operators, ticket salespeople, the drivers, and management. In a disagreement with a driver, he laughed in my face and the manager defended the employees rude behavior and threatened to not let me on my bus when I gave an attitude back. They are not very flexible and refuse to give refunds or transfer your ticket to another day. They also want you to take whichever bus route you're given, they get very annoyed and may simply refuse if you discover another way to get to your destination and request to be on a different bus. The bus will be sure to leave behind anyone who's not ready at the exact time, but arrivals are still late many days. The drivers that are actually friendly and polite, not giving refunds, and not much competition in the more rural parts of PA is probably the only reason this company is still in existence.

Been using this bus for years now I absolutely love the staff. I think the prices are reasonable. The buses are usually clean. I honestly have no complaints maybe except I'd love to see outlets on the buses so they customers can charge their devices.

Paid $100 for a round trip ticket. On my return ride was taken half way and then told my ticket was in the wrong form and told a correct ticket was $10. I had no money. They refused to accept payment over the phone or online from a family member. Was told I would be stranded in an unfamiliar town where I knew no one with no money and no cell coverage. The staff was completely unsympathetic. Literally had to bum $10 from a really nice lady that was on the bus. I have taken this same route probably a dozen times and spent upwards of $1000 with this company. They will never see my business again, all over their complete inflexibility over demanding $10 but refusing all my methods of payment.

I’m giving this company two stars, because I got to my destination in one piece, at least physically. Mentally and emotionally I have to brace for this horrific trip every time I need to come home to Pennsylvania from NYC. There are no trains near my hometown and no other buses—ONLY this one. It takes about 3 and a half hours to drive straight to my hometown but nearly 7 every time I take this bus, when it should be five. Here’s what you can guarantee you’ll experience on this bus:

-Driver suddenly pulls over somewhere completely random during the trip, says nothing and has us wait about a half hour at LEAST before anorher driver comes. No explanation.
-at the bus transfer in Lehighton, we wait another 30 minutes for the transfer bus to arrive.
-At least one person forgets what their stop was and makes the driver turn around, we sit at a stop waiting for one person to arrive to the bus, and we park at reading for at least 15 minutes for no reason even though the schedule says it leaves immediately.

This doesn’t include the handful of bus breakdowns I’ve experienced, uncomfortable seats, lack of outlets and often, lack of air conditioning or heat. Oh, and it’s $140 round trip. To take a bus. Back to Pennsylvania.

I have endured this trip for years because I’ve had to. The MINUTE I am making enough money to justify getting a rental car, I will take that option every time and never look back. An entire day is shot just trying to get not even four hours away. By the end of every trip, I’m practically crawling off the bus isn’t he worst mood I’ve ever been in. Nothing can save you on this trip except maybe a double dose of CBD.
