Definitely worth checking out especially if you like history! I've grown up around Fort Wayne my whole life and didn't know a lot of the things that they talked about on the tour. The boat was really nice and seating was comfortable. Very relaxing and worth the money.

I have to say I was really surprised by this canal boat river tour. I was able to attend last minute as there were some openings in a trip that was already booked. I was very glad I had the opportunity to go. I think probably what made this trip special was the narration by Debby. Wow, she was a fountain of knowledge. She really made the tour something unique. We were on the hour and a half tour and she had something unique to say for most of that time. You will learn about the history of Fort Wayne, sports history in the area, lots of stuff about the Rivers, and even a little bit of entertainment history. The tour takes off from the dock at promenade Park, takes you down all three of the rivers and then back to promenade Park. The canal boat was spacious but can be set up for many different kinds of groups that would want to book a tour. Our boat had three standing tables down the middle and chairs along the sides. The Parks Dept website talks about options for food and beverage. If you don't have it catered you have to bring any of your own food and snacks. Or don't bring anything and stop by Ted's after the tour!

A wonderful surprise! We decided to do this to celebrate a special day. We were looking for something different in the Fort!
There are two wonderful bonuses about this trip. You get to see the city from a very different perspective and you get to learn so much! I’ve lived here most of my life and I learned a lot. Take a few minutes up at the front of the boat for a different perspective.

The docent and crew were great!

Tip: don’t sit in the front row. Those windows are smaller.

My best friend and I along with our significant others took this tour for our birthday. I love this kind of stuff and every year on vacation, my boyfriend and I explore caves. It's nice to have a nature tour like this close to home and it's quite unique too! The boat is beautiful and you will catch some exclusive looks at the city of Fort Wayne from our riversides.

Who doesn't like a pleasant boat ride on the river? Our Docent, Jessica, was very knowledgeable and even changed up her normal routine to accommodate our deaf friend. Captain Dan got us where we were going safe and sound. Recommended highly.

This was a fun excursion! 45 minute tour went by fast, learned many things about Ft. Wayne history that I didn't know, & our guide, Mark, seemed to love his job & was very knowledgeable!

Enjoyable ride. I liked the history by the staff (on and off the boat). If you are a Fort Wayne person I think you would enjoy ride and learn a lot of your fort/town/city origin history.
