Our week spent at the Tarpon House was filled with memories to last a life time. Many hours were spent together in the spacious outdoor entertaining space. The heated pool, putting green, bean bags, darts, ping pong and sitting around the fireplace watching tv after the kids went to bed were all highlights! Inside was well set up as well with all bed rooms having their own en suite, a well stocked kitchen and large indoor gathering space. You also can’t beat the close walk to the beach and all the sand toys, beach chairs, wagon, and canopy the house came with as well. We rented a golf cart to get around the island which i highly recommend as well. We can’t wait to carry the tradition on and come back to Tarpon House again soon! Thank you Dave and Cindy for a wonderful stay!

The Tarpon House is our favorite home by far, to vacation at on AMI. Dave and Cindy are amazing hosts, who go above and beyond for their guest experience. The backyard is an oasis, from a huge pool, tiki hut, fire pit, and a nice variety of games. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need, from air fryer to waffle maker. Most importantly, the property is so well maintained,, I am amazed how it still looks brand new every visit. The beds are so comfortable, from the mattress, to the linens. Thanks for another great stay, we can’t wait for our next visit!

THE PERFECT HOUSE!!! We had an amazing experience staying at the Tarpon House in December. Plenty of space for your party to stretch out and relax. Multiple areas to gather and enjoy your stay. The house had everything that you would need while on vacation, games, activities, and most importantly hospitality!! The hosts were so kind and treated us like family making our family feel welcomed beyond our expectations.

We stayed here spring of 2023 and absolutely loved it. The home is well stocked and well kept. We all had a blast in the pool and relaxed at night in the hot tub. The layout was perfect for our family of 6. We rented a golf cart so it was extremely easy to get to all the restaurants and shopping. And the Boyd’s were so gracious and kind to us. We can’t wait to come back for round two!

We stayed here in early December 2023. Very nice house with a lot of amenities. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was helpful in that we had multiple families staying here together. Also loved the fact that 3 of the 4 bedrooms had king sized beds. House has a great pool, hot tub, little putting area, and many fun games/activities to entertain and stay busy. Quick walk to the beach with cart, chairs, towels, and umbrellas/canopy provided.

One area that sets this house apart was the kindness and responsiveness of the owners. Very helpful and friendly people. Definitely recommend this home. You won’t be disappointed!

We had the most incredible time at Tarpon House! A stunning property with everything you need and in a perfect location, close to the beach, good restaurants/bars yet still a really private property. We used every inch of the house and loved the pool and all the games outdoors. Thank you!

My husband and I have brought our family to AMI for about 10 years now. Every year we rent a different house on the island in search for the perfect spot. Tarpon House instantly became our home away from home! We will be returning to this house from now on! As a group, we have 3 couples, each with one daughter. The girls absolutely loved the bunk room and each couple had their own space. The beach is only a quick zig-zag walk away. The kitchen offers just about anything you'll need for cooking. The back yard is unbeatable!! The outdoor living area is a wonderful place to hang out in the evening. There's plenty of pool and beach accessories.

Cindy and Dave were an absolute blessing! You can tell they truly care about the people who stay at Tarpon House. They are so welcoming and hospitable. Our stay ended up aligning with hurricane Idalia, unfortunately. Cindy was great at offering recommendations on where we should go under the mandatory evacuation order. She wanted to make sure we were comfortable and safe. We ended up leaving Tarpon House for about a day and a half to ride out the hurricane on the mainland. Cindy and Dave were quick to make sure the remainder of our stay was perfect and it absolutely was! We can't wait to return to our second home!
