I had a terrifying experience at this hotel. When I walked in to check in, a man with no identifiable uniform, sitting with his feet up on a table, drinking and talking on the phone, asked me, “What do you want?” I didn’t realize he was a security guard because of his unprofessional behavior and appearance—he seemed intoxicated and was sitting near the bar. As I began walking toward the front desk, he stood up with a gun in his hand and started charging at me, screaming.

I asked who he was, and he shockingly replied, “I’m the vice president here, and I’m going to harass you now.” The woman at the front desk just smiled as if it were funny, and when I asked for his name, she claimed she didn’t know him. The fact that someone was aggressively yelling and waving a gun made me feel completely unsafe. I left immediately.

After reading other reviews about this hotel, I’m relieved I didn’t stay. Many people have noted not only unsafe conditions but also dirty rooms. If the staff allows this kind of behavior and can’t maintain basic cleanliness, it’s clear this place is not fit for guests. Avoid this hotel at all costs—it’s not worth risking your safety.

Great For Shomer Shabbes /Shabbat and everyone! Pool is a little small. very very good hotel and service. Ask for top floor if you want quiet. Highly recommended. i hve been there several times and would do it again. Dont plug in Electric food warmers of any kind without permisison. Use their catering service.

Stayed here for one night. Pictures are misleading, rooms were dated and in tough shape. It wasn’t very clean either. When we first got to our room the trash bins had not been emptied and it looked like the floor had not been vacuumed. We were also in the west wing which was a long walk from the lobby/garage. Place has the potential to be nice but needs an investment.

Soooo the pool is under construction, which was not disclosed when booking or at check-in. There was no hot water half the time. Only one staff member of the front desk employees was helpful and nice. He gave us an upgrade which we very much appreciated. Still a very mediocre experience. Definitely not worth the price. Would not recommend.

4.5/5 stars! This CT hotel is a hidden gem! Elegant rooms, comfy beds, and beautiful grounds. Friendly staff, excellent service, and top-notch conference facilities. Perfect for weddings, events, or business stays. Love the convenient location and delicious on-site dining. Only suggestion: upgrade the gym. A great choice for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Connecticut

Nice and clean, good beds. Not many services or places to eat nearby but good value for money. It does have a place to hear with limited food options and not open a couple of days a week. Also charged $10 per day for parking. But overall a good place and we have now stayed twice

The place was clean and nice , good service.

The only thing is the parking lot because if you want to go and buy something you have to pay in order to take out your car and when you come back you also need to pay again for the parking. when you did it already, I mean if you leave 5 time 5 time you have to do the process ,and you only were 8 hours. we as a Coustumer should pay one day ticket and you should be able to get in and out with your car as long you are at 8 hour payment!!
