The Atrium is a breakfast and lunch restaurant located in Kingston, Pennsylvania. Its breakfast menu includes a variety of omelets, French toasts, Eggs Benedicts, oatmeal and other staples. Its lunch menu includes burgers, wraps, soups, salads and other items.

We arrived shortly after 9:30 on a Wednesday morning and had our choice of tables in the mostly empty, high-ceilinged dining area. We ordered our coffee and orange juice while looking over the menu.

I was eager to try the Crab Benny, an Eggs Benedict dish featuring jumbo lump crab cakes on toasted English muffins, topped with two poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, and Old Bay seasoning. However, the meal wasn't available because the restaurant ran out of Hollandaise.

I then chose the French Toast Melt, consisting of battered and grilled brioche bread, ham, bacon, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and hash browns. Butter and syrup were baked in the batter, and although powdered sugar was supposed to be included, it wasn't present (unless that was in the batter as well). The sandwich was served with a side of breakfast potatoes.

As one would imagine, the sandwich packed a lot of sodium; however, The Atrium wasn't sparing with the meat. The hand-held was very filling, and I struggled to finish it. It was just as well, as the breakfast potatoes were not entirely pleasing. Each morsel of potato was the same size, which meant that they weren't freshly made but came frozen from a bag. They were also sodium-laden and overdone, as they tasted burnt.

The Brioche French Toast, which included cinnamon, vanilla, egg wash, and powdered sugar, was disappointing. First, it certainly didn't appear to be Brioche, but rather plain white bread. We had the option of topping, so fresh strawberries were chosen. However, it came with only a few strawberries at most, alongside two small containers of syrup.

Overall, the experience was a bit underwhelming. The place was clean and inviting, and the service was fine enough; however, when you don't have the main ingredient for what takes up about ⅙ of your breakfast menu, and sparingly use another featured ingredient, it makes one suspect of what other unwelcome surprises may come about. I wouldn't turn down another opportunity to visit again, for I would be curious about their lunch menu. Nevertheless, I wouldn't suggest The Atrium when inviting someone to breakfast.

Was super disappointed in the service at this visit, which was unfortunate since we don't dine out often and we were treating ourselves and some out of the area family that was visiting. The food took way to long for the amount of tables that were there, my food came out with the wrong sauce. I asked our server for the correct sauce but never received it. No one ever checked on us or asked if we needed anything. The second time a server stopped by she dropped the check and walked away. Never asked if we needed boxes or anything. We asked for boxes twice before having to get them ourselves at the counter. The servers need to be more attentive. Consider putting the side pasta salad in a separate bowl rather than next to a sandwich on a plate because the soy sauce was all over the plate causing the sandwich to be soggy. My sandwich was good and so was the tuna. We love to have lunch there but this time just didn't meet our expectations. We will be back but we hope the server creates a better experience for us. Thanks for listening

Very helpful staff (when deciding what to eat). The restaurant is clean, open, and there are a lot of seating. You get seated by one of the lovely waitresses they have. The menus are easy to read. The bathrooms are very clean and smell good too. This restaurant can get very busy during lunch time and I can see why; great service, great staff, and great food!

only asked for a "plain" bacon and sausage on a bagel (specifying bacon and sausage only, no cheese or sauce) i got bacon egg no sausage cheese and every sauce imaginable, i go back and explain my order in person after taking it to where i was at to eat it. i get there and they take it back and bring out the same thing just without the buffalo sauce and gave me my sausage 20 mins before my second order of wrong food came out. i call then back after finding it wrong the second time and the lady goes just give me your name and number and ill have my manager call you by the end of the day, like thats gonna resolve any thing from this MORNING, ill be happy to tell people about this experience whenever brought up👍

They were out of two specials by the time we ended up there for lunch around 1pm. Which is fine but I feel like they should've crossed out the items on the signs because I was very excited to try their Cajun shrimp taco wrap. I ended up getting a different menu item which was fine but I was disappointed that I couldn't get the special. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal as well.

Food just not good. Breakfast potatoes very over seasoned. Had a Nashville Chicken Breakfast wrap. Same issue over seasoned and just not good. Waitress was nice, but seems like she was busy even though the place was not. To many better choices near by . Will not be back.

This place is an open concept breakfast and lunch spot. Breakfast service ends at 11:30AM.

Food was delicious and I was served quickly. Ordered a tuna melts and a Reuben sandwich with fresh cut fries! Coffee was fresh.
