Being an apartment dweller I do stay ontop of my DD but doing a polish and ceramic coating outside is tricky, here's where The Bays of Wheeling come into play!

I took advantage of a free hour and it really came in handy as I needed all 5 hrs to do what I needed to do today (polish the paint and ceramic coat it) I did the chemical & mechanical decon at home, along with strong pre-wash and stronger 2BM, as well as thorough tire & wheel cleaning with additional boost of Gyeon Wet Coat on the rims and grill of my car.

I arrived early as asked to and got right in, set myself up and got crackin'! Noone bothers you but the staff will help with a question and more importantly a stocked store front incase you forgot something or wanna try something new! I paid a little extra to leave my car there overnight so my freshly applied ceramic coating cures properly, a great option and well worth it IMO!

I'm looking forward to monthly visits come winter monthes to maintain my car properly and too boost my coating up properly!!

Come to The Bays, either location and treat yourself to some "me time", it's well worth it!

I'd rate ten stars if I could. The facility is spotless and easy to navigate. The staff are experts. They gave me critical guidance and taught me more than I've ever learned in a couple hours' time. I'm not aware of any other facilities like it, but I'm not sure it could be done any better than this!

I was so impressed with the job Gerardo did on my Dad's SUV I brought my mother's in the very next day. I walked in the door and was greeted by Eduardo with a smile and enthusiasm that was quite honestly refreshing. He made me feel so welcome and was very helpful. Gerardo knocked out out of the park!!! I don't think the car looked that good when it was picked up at the dealership when she bought it. THANK YOU Gerardo!!!

After watching YouTube videos for about a year, I was finally in town and able to schedule a detail for my Dad's SUV.

Walk in the door and immediately get greeted with a hello and smile from Haley. That really set the tone for what was an incredible experience. Danny popped in the showroom and offered a tour of the facility when I was done with Haley. Gerardo did an incredible job on the exterior and interior details, thank you! When I thought it couldn't get better, I was able to meet the mastermind behind The Bays, Jason, and PPF guru E-Man!!! Thank you both for taking time from your day to visit with me, that meant a lot.

If you're in the Chicagoland area, live or just visiting, I can't suggest a stop at The Bays enough! They have EVERYTHING you need to treat your vehicle to some TLC!

I’ve been to The Bays at Wheeling three times now to wash my car. They’ve got every product you need if they you’ve run out of something or want to try something new, nice wash/dry/vacuum equipment, knowledgeable staff/owner, and really great lighting. Besides the air cannon, my favorite piece of equipment they have is a rolling power washer to spray all that salt off the car’s undercarriage. If you need a good wash—especially in the winter—or a dedicated, well-lit space to do a polish and a coating, I’d check this place out.

Great place to detail your car. Provide you with everything you need and a warm place with a bunch of lighting. I polished my car in this place with the polishers and pads they have there and it came out awesome for an old car and second time polishing a car.

Ken runs a great shop and his right hand Wayne is also super helpful. Great equipment and an array of products available. Definitely recommend this place!
