Laura Ankrom should not be counseling anyone. I went to her because as a woman I believed it would be easier to speak to her. People like her are the reason I left Christianity. So now I'm conflicted because everyone else has been amazing.

The Bible Chapel is an excellent church. The Pastor(s) Ron Moore and Dave DiDonato are excellent Bible teachers! They teach DIRECTLY from the Bible, using scriptural references to back every statement.
My wife and I appreciate a church that teaches about God and His Word, we want Divine Viewpoint and not human viewpoint. Human viewpoint will put you into a ditch every time. Additionally, many great opportunities for fellowship & learning & support for men, women and families! They offer a Living Grounded class to learn more about the church. Just a great blessing all around.

My family went to the Bible chapel on several occassions, this is not our family church. We went once to talk to Jacquelyn about their special needs ministry which is very well equiped and prepared to meet generally any need that arrises. I have heard they have started and adult project in that program as well. Very in front of the needs there. They have a whole wing devoted to Special needs, and a therapy dog who is quiet and very docile.
We were also there for a related event, Night to Shine prom, (Tim Tebow Foundation) and they did a wonderful job for the special needs community both for the individuals and care givers. They are showing that they are not just a "Sunday morning" ministry but reach out proactively and are invested in the community.

Spouse and I have been A member for a year.
Church is big. People are super nice.coffee shop upstairs is great. Kid section is nice.
Church has Two pastors. One talks like Kermit the frog (pastor dave) and one whispers half his sentences so u can’t hear (lead Pastor Ron who is stepping down).
Why Is my rating only a one star

Answer:
We Took marriage retreat. pastor Ron led it for any and all couples within the church looking to strengthen their marriage. .
I haven’t been a fan of this church lately due to my own issues. Pastor Dave (who is taking over the church) is starting to exhibit catholic practices (example:Stand up and sit down when I speak this part of the Bible). My belief is that God leads us to stand and pray and speak certain verses, not man. It’s a silly practice unless there is feeling behind it.
Pastor Ron is the great whisperer who whispers a lot of his ending sentences which is frustrating for those who have hearing issues like myself.

But My spouse really liked this church so I appeased for the year until the couples retreat with pastor Ron, at which point we finally walked away for good.

Retreat was in person then the rest of the retreat was all zoom call with Q&A at the end. One section was Ron talking about $ex among married couples. Ron made it very clear about his opinion as he falsely stated it as ā€œscripture.ā€ He made the comment about men straying/cheating, within the marriage, ā€œscripture says if a man strays $exually within a marriage it is the wife’s fault for not pleasing her husband.so be sure to fulfill that part of your obligationā€ā€¦..perhaps a personal issue within his own marriage? I don’t know, nor will I judge, however THERE IS NO SUCH SCRIPTURE. Spouses stray from a marriage due to weakness within themselves and a lack of respect for their partner.
Ron is human and we all make mistakes so I emailed him with my concerns of his preaching false doctrine and placing false blame on spouses who may truly believe that garbage that he spewed. I ended the email by stating that I’d love to discuss further to find understanding.
Imagine my surprise when Ronny never bothered to write back. Interesting because the scripture DOES preach about the responsibilities of a pastor and to not lead your congregation astray and scripture also says to confront the person you are having an issue with.
So I did, but Sadly he just couldn’t find the time to respond.
Great leader šŸ™„
I always assumed a real pastor has hard conversations with his congregation…..but not Ron. So if you’re looking for a pastor who cares and preaches true scripture——-keep looking.

We greatly enjoyed our visit to the Bible Chapel, it was a welcome breath of fresh air. We have tried several churches in the area and they seem to give feel good messages with no real substance. That was not the case at Bible Chapel. They preach the Word of God and preach it boldly! It was nice that the Bible wasn't an afterthought. The sermon was rooted in the Bible and didn't need to be entertaining or flashy, it was challenging and encouraging as it was. The people were very welcoming and helpful because it was our first time visiting. Even though it is a bit far for us to drive each week, we really liked it and will probably visit again.

One of the few churches that preaches the bible as it was intended, and does so unapologetically.

Always phenominal!! The only church I have been to that when babies begin cooing and/or fussy, some one isn't rushing over to push the adults to remove the child to another room. Personally, I love listening to the background music of baby voices and will never attend any church or anything that separates families. After all, they see the angelsšŸ˜‡...

A true place of worship and family orientedā¤
