Great venue!!! So many great artists. Looking forward to Chapel Roan night and thoroughly enjoyed Julia Cole. It's awesome having the opportunity to be more in a smaller intimate venue in order to be able to really resonate with the artists.

Small, intimate venue. Went to Tech N9ne with my brother. Hung in the back by the bat and was able to see the whole stage and very clearly hear all music clearly. Security and Bar staff are awesome! Will be at any show that hosts someone i like. 5 stars

Great venue. Very courteous and professional staff. Fun environment and feels very safe inside. Outside is a mixed bag depending on how far away you have to park as parking on site is very limited.

Super upset. My wife and I got tickets for Joy Oladokun at The Black Sheep and was looking forward to this for months and we ended up turned away at the door. They decided to section off the entire parking lot and have no accessible parking whatsoever. The nearest street parking not taken was over a mile away and their answer was basically “Should’ve got here earlier so someone else with disabilities could be in your position instead of you.” There was a spot right next to the door that if they cared they could have allowed us in. They even refused a refund, because although the show didn’t start until 8, the doors opened at 7 and we arrived at about 7:30, and said “the show already started” even though we clearly hadn’t been in for any of it and the concert had not officially started.

Would be 0 stars if I could physically do that. Will literally take your money and do nothing but ruin your night.

Was not impressed last night at all. There was nothing wrong with the bands. They were amazing.
We've been going here for quite some time and have had an awesome time whenever we show up; however, last night was not it.
It was definitely an oversold show. It was PACKED with people, and since it was an all-ages show, there were children there, so it made it even more dangerous (for the kids).
This is a small venue; everyone was elbow to elbow, not abnormal for here, but what made it difficult was the mosh pit. Don't get me wrong, I love being in a mosh pit once in a while, but there were folks there last night who were extremely aggressive. Those of us standing on the side were being punched. I got gut-punched the first time.. walked it off because it can happen, but then, not even a full minute later, I got punched in my jaw.
The parents that brought their kids had to leave because their kids kept being shoved, we brought along our 16-year-old brother, and he was assaulted too, and the dude can't even say sorry.
As a spot for the LGBTQ place, this was not it. So many of my friends who showed up last night were being assaulted, and it's hard for us not to take it personally when a lot of them are saying they were also hit one way or another.
Not a safe place anymore for sure.

Not to mention, when we first arrived, one staff member (I wish I got his name) was extremely rude. When you first show up they have you take your stuff out of your pockets... As usual, however, when I went to place my stuff down, they "snatched" my stuff out of my hand and slammed it into the container. Not okay...

Also also with it being such a packed show whenever the bands stopped and it was like the intermission part between bands everyone would leave to go outside to smoke. There was absolutely no room for everyone outside. None, It was like The Three Stooges trying to get outside or back inside.
If y'all are doing "sold out" shows you need to make sure everyone will have room inside and outside.

Twiztid was our first show at this venue. We frequent shows of all types across CO, this was a great venue. Staff was nice, the crowd was super friendly, and the bathrooms were clean and accessible! Will definitely be back soon.

Absolutely excellent! Great small indoor venue, has clean restrooms, reasonably priced drinks and even though it claims 'standing room only', there are small benches along each wall to get it a sit down if you need it. Couldn't recommend this venue enough, and of course they held the show for Slothrust, so they get extra brownie points!

So there is a person on here, complaining about how they were turned away from Parking for disabled people. I wish that black sheep had more Accessible parking but unfortunately, it is first come first serve. Or you can call ahead and have the accessible parking held for you. This is what I do. The security guys are the most helpful people I have met at a concert venue. That’s why this comment needs a bit more of explaining. I also was at the Joy show, and I took the only accessible parking spot that was open. They held it for me because they knew I was coming. I just moved back to the Springs from a three year hiatus in Spain to study at the Berklee College Of Music. I have a traumatic brain injury from a car wreck 17 years ago, which leaves me completely paralyzed on my right side. I have come a long ways since the doctors thought I had a spinal injury because I flew 35 feet out of a car and landed headfirst on the guard rail. When they found me I was dead. So every moment I get to be on this earth, I am grateful for and I am especially grateful to the amazing staff and Security at the Black Sheep!

I wish I could talk to that person who left a negative comment because I am ashamed that anybody has had to go through that but then again that is the parking situation and there is nothing that we can do about it. Unfortunately, nobody was really at fault. I have been a disabilities advocate for 15 years and have received rewards for the activism, I have taken part in. I’ve also won awards for a nonprofit organization I started called “A Positive Note,” which teaches children and adults with disabilities the fundamentals of music. I’ve had over 4000 students since I began this program 15 years ago and I would do anything for the people that I have taught in this program.

I am truly sorry for whatever happened, but these security guys have been the most amazing people to me and I would recommend them over and over again to anybody who asked me about them. I can’t believe anyone has had a negative experience there compared to all of the experiences that I’ve had, which have been more than positive. I love the venue because it is such a small place and they draw world renowned artist and keep the rates at a fair amount. once again, I can’t believe that anyone has had a bad time at the Black Sheep.
