Enjoyable ferry ride. Nice cabin for breakfast and drinks. The weather deck walk outs make for good fresh air viewing.

Ferry inflation on food and goods is like airport pricing. Nice employees all around.

Took the ferry twice a day for 5 days to Long Island and back for work.

They're super efficient with getting cars and passengers on so we can take off asap. Love it!

Added 10/14/24 - the dude running the food station inside is an absolute pleasure. I feel so bad he had to deal with hungry travelers and not enough food on hand. Dude had the patience of a SAINT and managed to get me food without my allergens as well as handle a huge crowd. If I could rate any higher, I would.

I hadn't been in the ferry since I moved to Bridgeport some dozen years ago. My friends birthday and a beautiful weekend presented the perfect opportunity to hop on and enjoy the day. First, best to buy your tickets beforehand. You can purchase online and they'll scan the qr code sent to your email. Second, parking at the pier is for handicap only! Park on street and walk down the acces road, or go to one of the nearby lots and can call or wait for shuttle to take you there (nice to tip driver a buck or two). While on the shuttle, I ordered my round trip ticket. By the time I got in line I had my email. You can also buy in the station you can NOT buy in the boat itself. Once in the boat, we headed up to sit on the outside deck. It was a beautiful day, nice breeze, just enough sun, perfect views! We got over and walked our way around the town, ate dinner... then headed back on the 645pm boat. We got to see a most beautiful sunset, as you can see in my photo and video. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Always an enjoyable trip back and forth, with friendly staff, reasonably priced ticket costs, have a food place on the second floor of the ferry boat. They keep the bathrooms and other main areas clean, have a smoking area on the third (top) floor balcony area, and also have a nice lounge/bar area. Can get out of your vehicle, enjoy the outside view, and see the stars or the waves.
