I had a very pleasant stay here. I slept really well, the showers were hot, the place was quiet, staff helpful, and honestly the coffee I had from the in-room maker was maybe the best hotel room coffee I've ever had. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Dillingham.

Great Inn for Fisherman, good option for flight crew. Comfortable and accommodating rooms that are spacious and clean. Some rooms are suites with Kitchenettes, that are well stocked with dishes, a two burner stove top, a sink and a mini fridge. All rooms have adjustable windows and oscillating fans, a side table with chairs and a tv dresser cabinet. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful!

Excellent place to stay with competitive prices. The restaurant there is better than other restaurants in Dillingham. Really great staff. They will look out for you, provide information about the community, and will see to your room being a pleasant experience. The rooms are great quality, especially considering the rooms are located so far from a metropolitan area. Prices are on the high side for lower 48 prices, but are not high compared to hotels outside of Anchorage and Fairbanks.

The Bristol Inn is located near places to see in Dillingham, and is close to the waterfront of Bristol Bay. Most everything is in walking distance.

I recommend this place.

* A REALLY NICE EXPERIENCE * ||Clean, comfortable, second floor room with a queen bed and small kitchenette. Quiet hallways, on-site diner, flexible shuttle. Ronnie is a fantastic manager/ host and can give you inside advice on where to go and what to see in Dillingham. ||My flight arrived early in the morning and I was assuming I'd be stuck lugging my bags around and waiting to check in. Nope, not at the Bristol Inn! Ronnie picked us up at airport within 10 minutes of landing and happily allowed us to check in early! His housekeeping staff had already attended to our rooms so we were given our room keys right away. I was able to unpack, take a little nap, and grab a bite to eat before my 12 noon meeting. #FANTASTIC!! ||It rained quite a bit while we were there and Ronnie shuttled us to our meetings so we didn't have to call a taxi or walk in the rain. Bristol Inn is within walking distance to the grocery store/deli and the gas station w/ the real espresso machine. (guilty pleasure)||My Kitchenette was comprised of small fridge/ freezer, 2 burner cooktop, kitchen sink, and basic cookware, dishes, utensils. Dish soap and sponge, salt &pepper, sugar, pot holders were arranged nicely on the kitchen counter area. A small dining table and 2 chairs next to a window provided us with a comfy & modest view of the town.||The Bristol Inn isn't fancy-- but it's quiet and well kept. The bed was comfy and the pillows and linens were all fresh and clean. ||The room had ample lighting having overhead fixtures and table lamps. The entertainment center held a flat screen TV (basic cable) and had drawer space for clothes, a desk with it's own chair and telephone, and plenty of hangers and shelf space for luggage. A hair dryer, iron, single size coffee pot, and oscillating fan were also provided in my room. Bathroom had good sized vanity, tub/ shower combo. There is a soap dispenser in shower. My room did not include any little soaps, lotions, or shampoos--but I always bring my own so it wasn't a problem. The water was plenty of hot water morning and night, and water pressure in shower was more than adequate. ||Soda and snack machines containing the basics were located on the second floor next to ice machine. My room was across from these machines, but they weren't noisy or disruptive in any way. The room doors are sturdy and have a door lock and deadbolt for security.||Wi-fi is somewhat limited due to the expense of the service in rural Alaska, but I had no issues checking and sending emails; I read my local online newspaper without any problem. The Front Desk will issue you a wi-fi username and password upon request. ||I noticed a good sized conference room downstairs, but my meetings were arranged by my host and held in another location. There was a guest laundry available in the hotel, I didn't use it so I'm not sure if it was coin- operated or free. ||||I was pleasantly surprised by the Bristol Inn. I anticipated crowded, worn, and noisy due to the rural location. It far exceeded expectations and I will definately stay here again when returning to Dillingham. ||||Things to know about Dillingham||AT&T cellular service DOES NOT WORK!!!, not even a little bit. Zippo. GCI cell phones seemed to do OK. ||Taxi's charge per person. So, a $10 trip to airport for 2 people is going to cost $20. ||The TapWater tastes & smells kind of weird. I bought bottled water for drinking and brushing my teeth. The water was fine for showering. ||Everything is spendy due to the remote location (24-pk bottled water is $13, half gallon OJ is $11. I was thankful I brought a box granola bars with me because they were $2-$3 per piece at the stores.) ||The colorful painted salmon cutouts that you see hanging up all around town were made by locals. The MySpace Youth Center and women's shelter sponsor many activities for folks in Dillingham. Consider donating to these organizations that help keep Dillingham a nice, safe place for visitors and residents alike. ||Dillingham is a 'hub' city for the smaller villages in Bristol Bay, at any given time the town's population can easily double in size when folks visit Dillingham for supplies & services; or as they pass thru on their way to Anchorage.||There are many interesting "off-the-beaten-path" type things to see, just ask.

The Bristol Inn restuarant was very good. Veronica, our waitress, had our orders all correct. The cook, Isaac, cooked everything very well. The price was high but typical for an Alaska village. It's a good place to stay and eat.

Got stuck here due to a weather diversion. Price extortionate for what I would describe as a cheap motel room. Front desk clerk clueless with don't care attitude. ||The only saving grace was the attached diner. THe guy running that place was very accomodating. Stayed open late on a Sunday for us and fed us well at a reasonable price. Excellent staff in there. Everything closes early on Sunday and no alcohol.

Good place to stay when you're in town. There's a restaurant located inside and the foods not too bad.
