This hotel is in a good location and has so much potential. But, it’s outdated and dreary. The staff is always very nice. The bathrooms could be cleaner. They look clean but when you look behind the toilet and see stains, it’s disappointing. The shower was broken and when we turned it on it sparked everywhere even over the top of the curtain onto the ceiling and the floor. The front desk workers are always nice and courteous. Overall it’s okay for a quick stay. But I would not stay here longer than two days. It’s located right next to everything downtown including the trading station and a few bars. The park across the street is also nice and has ice skating in the winter.

Hotel staff are super friendly and the rooms are reasonably clean. Odd numbers seem to be the parking lot view and even numbers face the state capitol. The toilet takes 2 tries to fully flush, but thankfully no bugs during our visit. The walls can be a little thin, so you may hear your neighbors at night.

Breakfast is decent, good variety but nothing particularly special. The coffee is solid, but I wouldn't recommend getting the juice or baked goods.

The hallway has an odd musty smell. Don't take the stairs unless you plan to leave the building as there's no way back into another floor.

Overall, it's a decent hotel in a convenient location that is unfortunately also not a great area to walk around at night.

They could add some more lighting outside and better directions for underground parking. Some signs to explain the different lots might save the staff from repeating the same message to every customer.

A raw, honest review- upon arrival the front desk staff was amazing. He was very personable, friendly man.. Parking was awesome, I felt safe, knowing my car was in a garage underground. A little small, but it smelled very clean we only had Was the used bar of soap in the shower and the fact that the shower drained very slowly the breakfast was amazing!! Coffee, tea, juice, bagels, and toast, cereal, and oatmeal, hot eggs, and bacon and potatoes and a waffle maker 🙂 We will definitely be returning

GREAT STAY! Very homey, quiet and clean. Located right downtown and the amtrak is across the street with local buses for convenience. Restaurants within walking distance. Wonderful staff, very polite & respectful. I will be booking another stay! So thank you for having me

The location is FANTASTIC. It's near the train. It's near the park. It's near good food and coffee. At first glance the building itself is not attractive. Once you enter though you realize it's a lovely lady that just needs a new dress. The rooms are good, not great. The rooms just need a few details to be attend to really elevate the experience. The morning breakfast was also very good. On a whole my suggestions and critiques are more cosmetic than systemic. The room was good, the staff was great, the breakfast was good, the location was great, and the outward facade could use some work. Overall my stay was enjoyable especially in relation to the price. Cheers!

Shopping bag of my items stolen by housekeeping!!! The manager did nothing, refused to refund my 1 Day stay, and told me to file a police report. - very unhelpful!!! Supposedly the Cameras are not working, so please be very careful, the hotel is very unsafe.!!! Also very poor service, you must be bilingual to communicate with the staff, horrible food choices, The room had pubic hairs all over the bathroom, the tub did not drain water, please report to police so that they can provide better service. It’s worth paying a higher price to stay at a better hotel, horrible experience !!!

Decent hotel Downtown. Room was a little dusty and it is showing age but the view from the 8th floor facing the Capitol was amazing. Breakfast was great too. Parking was fine in the underground garage for reasonable price of $15/night, no smell and felt safe. Overall not bad. The guy at the front desk… not sure he wanted to be there but I have worked customer service and I knew his sentiment. I found it funny if anything because we’ve all had days like that! Overall, I would stay again!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Location was great, rooms were clean and enjoyed most of the amenities (delicious breakfast, computer work area, exercise space , though the laundry room was out of order during my stay 😔). I will plan to definitely stay here again whenever I visit the city.
