We photographed a wedding at the Casino and it was absolutely lovely. The manager and staff we're great to work with! They made sure we had access to the venue prior to guest arriving in order to capture reception detail photos, and also made sure we had everything we needed. This made our day so much easier and helped us ensure the couple had beautiful photos of their special day. Highly recommend!

The name is deceiving. Not sure how or why the location is still called "The casino at lakemont" when there is NO casino. It's nothing more than a banquet/reception hall & the locations name should be updated to reflect this! I'd be so mad if I wasn't local & would have driven hours to check out a "Casino" that doesn't exist.

If you're having a wedding reception in Altoona - this is the place for it! Vicky, the general manger, is absolutely incredible. She thinks of everything and is on top it throughout the entire wedding planning process. The venue itself is beautiful, historic, and clean. We gave Vicky all of our decorations the Thursday before the wedding, and she and her staff set-up everything and took it all down. We gave her over 30 dozens of cookies and she made a beautiful cookie table (and we literally just gave her cookies and the cookie table sign)! Well worth the money. The catering service (Snappy Chef) there is also phenomenal. People moved through our buffet line incredibly quickly and the food was delicious. Really the best place for wedding receptions in the area!! Highly recommend.

It's been since 11th grade for prom since I have been here, and it's still just as fabulous 🤩. We attended a wedding and it was beautiful, the staff were professional and friendly. The food was amazing and they were very knowledgeable about the ingredients and potential food allergens.

Such a beautiful place! We traveled from Texas for a wedding. And it was gorgeous! Completely beautiful reception here. The staff were like ninjas! Lol. They swoop in and clear the tables so quick you almost didn’t notice them. They were all so kind and helpful. Was an amazing evening!

Vicky is absolutely amazing to work with and incredibly helpful!! She is so passionate and dedicated to making any event spectacular! She has an eye for detail and will make the venue look truly beautiful. Also, the food is delicious! The casino also offers various options (food, decorations, spaces) to fit any budget. Vicky and her staff took care of everything for our wedding reception and it was beyond anything we could’ve hoped for! I would recommend 1000 percent!
