Thank god for Candace!! My wedding was perfect thanks to Candace’s expertise. Candace was so easy to work with and was very knowledgeable about all the details that come with hosting a large event. She was able to gracefully coordinate with many different vendors and personalities. She even got the entire wedding’s check out time at the hotel extended and got the hotel to provide us breakfast sandwiches! Candace did an amazing job coordinating and collaborating across the county with me, my family, and vendors. A wedding is a huge endeavor, and everything went perfectly because of Candace! The number one best move that I made was having Candace as my wedding planner. You want her on your team!

At the outset of the wedding planning process, I was initially under the impression that I could manage all the details of our daughter’s wedding without the assistance of a wedding planner. However, it became abundantly clear that I would need a professional planner. Hiring Candace and The Event Company Fl. proved to be an invaluable decision, particularly when unexpected challenges arose.

One standout aspect of working with The Event Company Fl. was their ability to handle unexpected challenges seamlessly. Specifically, their adept management of issues with an uncooperative catering manager showcased their professionalism and problem-solving skills. The initially catering manager moved to another state and was replaced with an individual who made no effort to become familiar with the package we purchased or anything that was in the contract. We were met with hostility and "No" what seemed like all the time. At a certain point Candace advised us to write an email highlighting our difficulties and concerns. She knows the service industry so well, that she was confident it would be elevated to a director even though we did not address our concerns to the director. Candace was correct. This ability to navigate the environment we were in did much to alleviate some major concerns that caused a lot of anxiety. The issues were raised to higher-ups and resolved.

On the day of the wedding, we didn’t have to worry about any of the logistics. Everything went without a hitch. The planning and timing ran like clockwork, from hair and make-up to photos and ceremony and reception. Even the tables and extra goody bags were set up for the breakfast we hosted for guests staying at the hotel the next morning.

In my quest for a wedding planner, my main priorities were trustworthiness and attentiveness to our event. It was a pleasant surprise that Candace not only met these criteria but also demonstrated her capability in handling a challenging vendor seamlessly. Looking back, I appreciate my humility in realizing that orchestrating a wedding involves a myriad of details best managed by a seasoned professional. Candace's valuable insights, industry knowledge, and proactive approach to addressing potential issues played a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless execution of our daughter's special day. Her active involvement not only allowed us to fully enjoy the wedding without logistical worries but also significantly elevated the overall quality of the event.

For anyone considering planning a wedding without a professional, I would strongly advise reevaluating that decision. It has taken me so long to begin this review (a month from tomorrow to be exact) because there’s truly no word in the English dictionary to explain the level of expertise Candace possesses, the passion she has for her craft, or the care and knowledge of every crazy detail I wanted for our wedding day. I wanted an EXPERIENCE, not an “event” and she made that happen, FLAWLESSLY.

From my first inquiry, I received a message back THE SAME NIGHT. I knew then, she was my girl! She was punctual, up front and REAL about my budget, yet extremely sincere in her willingness to make things happen. When I tell you I wanted JAMIE FOXX at my wedding- she found someone who contacted him within weeks (he was obviously outside of my budget)!! I say all that to say, NO task is too big or too small for Candace. She will do whatever she can to make your wedding planning process as smooth as possible. She is honest and knowledgeable! She reviewed each and every contract that came my way, asked for things I didn’t even know were necessary and followed up with my vendors.

It’s hard to believe just how smooth the day was! From the rehearsal the day before until the morning after the big day, I was cool, calm and collected thanks to her. It was THE most beautiful and memorable day and it was definitely an EXPERIENCE we will never forget! Candace was AMAZING! Our overall experience with her was very fun, smooth, and successful. She made sure that we didn’t stress out over the little things as it got closer to our wedding day and even on the actual day.
