Drawn into this gorgeous place for a quick lunch while visiting Franklin, and we were pleasantly surprised at the inviting atmosphere, friendly staff and did I mention that the food was delicious? Ordered chicken quesadillas and lobster roll, which were prepared and served perfectly. Looking forward to going to Franklin again just to eat in this cozy little spot.

Went here for the first time today. The building and old world details are awesome. Very cool atmosphere. The tequila sunrise was very good. The food however was just mediocre at best. The fish was dripping with grease but did however manage to still keep the integrity of the crispy breading. The pulled pork dip stuff was very greasy as well. I would go back for a few drinks but not the food. The waitress was really nice and attentive.

So disappointed in my experience here tonight. Made reservations for our family for the "all you can eat crab legs" for $32 a person. Was excited and looked forward to a yummy dinner, which was not the case. Service was beyond slow, side salad was about 8 pieces of lettuce, the side that came with the crab was some sort of mashed potato swimming in a buttery mixture (never were we asked or told what the side would be) and the crab legs were cold. We were never offered drink refills and the dirty dishes were not removed from our table. The women's bathroom was like an ice box and had no paper towels. When I let the bartender know there went any paper towels she said that was due to the 200 person wedding the night before and she would take care of it, When my daughter went to the bathroom 90 minutes later, there still weren't any paper towels! We did speak with the manager who eventually personally brought out servings of crab legs that were warm. When another table voiced concern/disappointment over the food, the manager (Dan) argued with each thing the customers said. We won't be going back to this restaurant. I try to support our local restaurants but will be skipping this one from now on. **and after reading other reviews I want to state that I am not related to or friends with anyone who currently or formerly worked here. And this wasn't some $5 special dinner either!

I absolutely love this restaurant! Even though I live almost 2 hours away, the drive is always definitely worth it! The staff is great and the atmosphere is very family friendly. I haven’t tasted anything I don’t like. The appetizer platter is great and the desserts are to die for! The skillet chocolate chip cookie is a must have. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to try it. I’m always anxiously awaiting my next visit!

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is fantastic! We've had their wings, which are huge! Their Dunn burger is famous for a reason... Huge, juicy and delicious! My husband's and I chose to have our 13th anniversary dinner here tonight and had 16 oz steaks. Grilled perfection! Bring your friends!!

Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. The owners are very attentive, making sure both service and food are excellent! They have good food specials through the week. If you have the chance to get the Mac and cheese burger, GET IT! It's the bomb! My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary dinner. Very happy!

The owners are two of the nicest people known to man, and if your experience isn't perfect let them know- they will move mountains to make sure any issue you have is resolved and perfect before you hit the door. Food, ambiance, and staff are all top notch and their effort really shows in the small details- from the hand-picked flowers and decor to the menu they prepare to be a complete dining experience without being uppity or intimidating. Give the Franklin a chance, and they will absolutely thank you for it ten times over.

I must say personally, The Franklin lived up to all of my expectations as suggested. As soon as I entered the Restaurant I was greeted by the owners, who were extremely gracious and personable. My menu included stuffed pork, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables which were all cooked to perfection and my taste. I ended my dinner with a slice of cheesecake covered with melted caramel. I couldn't have asked for a better night out, and the atmosphere coupled with a wonderful vanilla scent, matched the dinner and service. If you're looking for a peaceful and satisfying night out. I strongly suggest beginning with dinner at this beautiful restaurant.
