I've played in this hall a few times as a disc jockey. There is ample room to set up but the pillars got in the way of me and the crowd. It wasn't easy getting my equipment inside to set up. That being said it is a neat building.

Beautiful Historic Building, Staff is friendly and accommodating. You have to be willing to accept the bad with the good in a historic building like this. Our wedding was in early September and the 5th floor was a nice temperature with the windows open. The Ballroom was warm with 100+ people, it is an old building so although the ballroom is air conditioned, it could not keep up with the large space with lots of people.
This place could really benefit from a dedicated event manager, it sometimes felt like we were being passed between people or asked questions about something that was already discussed with someone else. Overall our day was beautiful and our family really loved the historic building.

Want a memorable experience in a hundred plus year old edifice, look no further! 1st floor is air conditioned the 5th floor which is a crown jewel of the building, indeed is not air conditioned for summer months; however, it has plenty of windows which open which allow for plenty of air circulation. Winter months offer various discounts, it is a shame a few fired disgruntled workers left 1 star feed back, please do not let that deter from the plenty of other four and five star feedback. The Temple Docent Ed Snyder will ensure your needs are met!

I'd be careful letting your children go to the bathrooms alone. I attended a wedding here. My daughter went to the restroom and there was a dirty syringe in the first stall she went to. When we notified staff they very nonchalantly acted like it was no big deal and it took a staff member almost 45 minutes to even make their way to the restroom area. A lot of the staff seemed clumsy and disoriented as if maybe they were the ones that were high. The building was not clean and seemed very unkept. From the outside it appears to be a very gorgeous and elegant building but looks can be deceiving. I will never return to this place nor would I ever host an event here! Such a disappointment.

I thought this place was ok to hold my wedding reception at for the price of 100 dollars an hr with the minimum of 4 hrs. I decided to book the place although I thought the social room had a old smell and dusty looking with green spotted up carpets. I figured I'd put some scented mist around to freshen up the room and just settle for the ugly carpet due to the huge space which was needed plus being able to bring my own food.

Now here's the kicker I called to book the area for Ed to tell me that I was not able to bring my food, which he said was fine a few days prior. Ed then suggested that if I was low on cash that I didn't have to serve a meal that I could cater chips and dip or something of that nature! Really! The women woman who gave us the tour said that Ed has made exceptions and have let people bring their own food. Ed denied that. Soooooo I'm wondering what made Ed change this mind about letting us bring our own food. Now I never pull the race card but things didn't switch up until after the BLACK couple viewed the area!

Had a great time at a wedding reception here. It was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. Very good acoustics for dancing (or good speaker placement.)
