My Wife & I recently had our wedding here and couldn't be happier with the how things turned out. The event spaces speak for themselves and the amount of decorating we had to do was minimal. Nina Cardenas worked with my wife and I to get the wedding package that worked for our budget and communication throughout the planning process was great. Furniture & linens were a part of the package so everything was taken care of in house. Also, the meals that the in house chef made were amazing! The Grand Baltimore staff took care of our family & friends as well as the wedding party all night long.

What a lovely place! I agree 100% with the other reviewers. The staff take good care of this historic gem, formerly a lodge for Free Masons. You feel the pride when you walk in the door.

We attended a concert that was intimate and sweet. The audience was just the right size and the acoustics were clear and crisp.

My husband told me how beautiful the men’s restroom is so I had to go to the ladies room to check it out. Chandeliers! Yes! I think the style is art deco. My mother would say, “Clean as a whistle.” Beautiful faux marble columns, glass end tables, and inlaid wooden stools.

When you have an invitation to this venue, get dressed and go!

I attended a wedding here. This is an absolutely beautiful building and seems to be very well cared for. It was very clean throughout including the bathrooms. The detail in architecture is ageless and absolutely beautiful. They just don't make buildings like this anymore. Parking is directly behind the building and there is a ramp on the second floor of the parking lot which allows guests to easily access the venue without having to walk all the way around. The parking lot is secure as well. When you leave the venue you use your parking ticket to access the parking lot from that same ramp. The only issue we had was the air conditioning was not working in the room where the wedding ceremony occurred. It was pretty warm but the staff did what they could do to accommodate us. This was a small hiccup and completely understandable as mechanics can fail at any given time. This was a class a venue and you can tell whoever runs the facility puts a lot of time and thought and effort into making sure everything goes great and guests are comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Nina Cardenas, the Catering Sales Manager at The Grand Baltimore, and I couldn't be more impressed with her professionalism, kindness, attentiveness, and understanding. Nina's dedication to her role as a venue coordinator truly shines through in every interaction.
One of the aspects that stood out to us was the variety of wedding packages offered by The Grand Baltimore, which cater to a range of budgets without compromising on quality. Nina's expertise in guiding us through these options made choosing the venue smooth and stress-free.
Beyond her exceptional organizational skills, Nina's genuine passion for her work was evident in the way she engaged with us. Her enthusiasm and positivity created a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend The Grand Baltimore as a wedding venue, and specifically, Nina Cardenas's services as a venue coordinator. Her commitment to excellence and love for what she does make her an invaluable asset to any couple planning their dream wedding.

My now husband and I got married at the Grand Baltimore in July 2022 and we were incredibly impressed by the professionalism, responsiveness and overall experience at the Grand. We unfortunately had to find a new venue within 6 months of our wedding and the Grand invited us to visit with open arms and were incredibly easy to work with throughout the process. Nina was our point of contact and she was incredibly thoughtful and responsive to the many emails we sent to her with last minute questions. The Grand has a ton of different options for event space. We used the Edinburgh hall for our ceremony, the Corinthian room for our reception and the Roman Strata room for our cocktail hour. The cost of the venue is on par with costs of other venues in Baltimore City but we got 3 rooms for the price of what some venues charge for just one event space. Our caterers were familiar with working at the Grand and we had plenty of space for our 120 guests, dance floor, DJ , 2 bars, and 3 station style areas in the Corinthian room. Nina went above and beyond to make sure we were treated so well our entire night and even sent champagne to our hotel room for afterwards.

This location is one of the finest and most elegant structures i have ever seen. No modern venue in the baltimore region can compare with the opulence and grandure offered by this historical site. The food was wonderfully prepared, the service friendly and highly attentive. There is palpable magic in the air here: you have to feel this to understand. I highly recommend!

The Grand Baltimore is a not so hidden classic venue in Baltimore. I was there for a wedding The staff is top notch. I've been to a lot of weddings but I've never seen one orchestrated so smoothly. The staff was there but you'd never know they were there The building is just breathtaking awesome and amazing. Not to mention the food was excellent I feel as though I step back in time.

The grand Baltimore itself the room is a 5 star. Very beautiful room, I did a sweet 16 birthday party there. But the person who handled my contract was nice at first, then as time went on she had an attitude. When my sisters would ask questions her whole mood changed. 2. Not being able to come in the night before to decorate the tables or even earlier in the day. They only gave us 3 hours before the party to decorate to which we had to cut some things out because it was not enough time to put all the decorations up and I had plenty of help to decorate. After I told her that we didn't want them taking pictures she told us the teenagers had to be out by 10pm and that we had to be done cleaning up by 1030pm. She said that I told her that. I did not. Later on she came up and said we have until 11pm. Last but not least the person who was cooking the food did not change the gloves. She used the gloves to pick up the shrimp and then the chicken and other things. That's cross contamination. Not only that but I'm deathly allergic to seafood. Seafood was there because the pasta station gave a variety of things to eat for everyone ranging from vegetarian to meat and seafood eaters. There was one black lady there who would take away the plates and empty glass she was AWESOME!!! Very pleasant and helpful and frequently made sure I was okay. If I or my sisters needed something she got it. I wish I remembered her name.
