The Haven at Tomales was the perfect wedding venue for us. The beautiful rolling hills surround you for miles and make you feel removed from daily life. Our guests felt truly transported as they drove up past a herd of cattle and through grazing sheep.

Besides being the most beautiful wedding venue I have ever seen, Mandy is an absolute gem. Mandy is the venue coordinator at the Haven and not only is she genuinely sweet, she is also very hard working. We could not afford to have our entire wedding at the Haven, but that did not stop Mandy from replying promptly to my endless emails, showing us around the entire venue, talking through different rainy day options the day before the wedding, and working tirelessly the day of to make our wedding day magical. Despite the beauty of the Haven, our wedding day would not have been the same without Mandy's wonderful presence. So thank you so much Mandy for all you did for us, we will truly never forget it!

When my husband and I first stepped foot in the Haven, it was game over. We were in love. We were greeted by Mandy and her adorable daughter who walked us through and showed us the gorgeous venue. From the beautiful terraced garden to the covered outdoor patio to the inside the breathtaking barn, this place is truly a "haven". After our visit, we followed up with Mandy who was more than helpful in providing us details of the venue including pricing, vendors, recommendations, etc. Although she wasn't our planner but rather a site coordinator, she was still very helpful in answering as many questions as she could and providing all of the information necessary for us to plan our dream wedding.

Other than the breathtaking views, we were also really pleased to learn about The Haven's history of sustainability and land preservation efforts. Being animal and nature lovers, this was also important for us. Although we live in Sacramento, I am so happy that my google searches lead us to The Haven because it was literally the most perfect place for us to spend the best day of our lives!

A Dream Venue with Exceptional Support – The Haven at Tomales

Our wedding at The Haven at Tomales was nothing short of spectacular. From the very first conversation to the big day itself, everything about this venue—and working with Mandy, the venue coordinator—was absolutely wonderful.

Mandy was incredibly responsive, kind, and thoughtful throughout the entire planning process. She always looked for the best solution to every question or hurdle, and was flexible when it mattered—she even worked with us to onboard a new florist to their approved vendor list. She provided excellent recommendations for other vendors and consistently made us feel supported. Since I was out of state when we booked, she gave my mom a site tour in my place, and later offered another visit closer to the wedding date. On the day of, she was present, helpful, and ensured everything ran smoothly.

The venue itself is simply breathtaking. We held our ceremony at the Knoll Crest custom site, surrounded by rolling hills as far as the eye could see—an unforgettable and truly magical setting. The barn and lawn area provided the perfect mix of rustic charm and elegant style, and made for a stunning reception backdrop.

We also rented a few furniture pieces through The Haven, which were beautiful additions and made the space feel even more special. The best part? The Haven team handled all the setup and teardown, making it completely stress-free for us. We got ready in the bridal and groom suites that morning, which were both spacious and comfortable—easily accommodating four hairstylists, a dress steaming station, and all the hustle and bustle of prep time.

One especially thoughtful touch: Mandy personally drove us around in a golf cart for our couples photos and to and from the ceremony site—such a small thing that made a big difference in keeping the day smooth and stress-free.

If you're looking for a magical, serene, and elegant venue with phenomenal staff, The Haven at Tomales is it. Just one tip for future couples: reach out to caterers and florists early in the planning process, as The Haven works with a select list of approved caterers (and for good reason—the quality is outstanding, but availability can book up quickly).

We are so grateful to Mandy and The Haven team for giving us a wedding day beyond our dreams.

We had such an exceptional wedding at The Haven – I wish we could do it again and again! Mandy was fantastic to work with, and the space is absolutely stunning, inside and out. The fog was heavy on the morning of our wedding (chilly but beautiful) and then the skies opened up to perfectly sunny for the afternoon. A deer even strolled by as we said our vows!

We looked at a lot of venues in Napa/Sonoma/Marin and The Haven by far stands out as the most beautiful setting and the most friendly team to work with. If you're considering getting married here, DO IT!

I can not recommend this venue more! As a wedding photographer I have seen some amazing venues and The Haven at Tomales is hands down my favorite venue. The venue offers spectacular views. I mean every direction you look at is just breath taking. They offer multiple wedding ceremony locations for couples needs. One of the best first look I have ever covered is at this venue.

And honestly I can not mention enough how beautiful this venue is. If you don't believe me, go see it for yourself, Just be ready to fall in love.

I can not say enough good things about this place. I had a COVID wedding experience and originally planned to have our wedding in 2021 but with everything happening we postponed to 2022. Mandy was my lifesaver, she was there the whole time helping me rearrange and just feeling comfortable and heard. When it finally came wedding time she was such a pleasure and helped make everything run smoothly day of even driving us around for pictures. The venue is amazing and all of our guest couldn't stop raving about it and kept asking me how I found such a treasure. Do yourself a favor and visit here, the vendors they recommended were amazing as well. Had the perfect day here.

The Haven is one of the most stunning and unique properties in West Marin. We loved the long epic driveway leading up to the barn and the rolling hills. When we first stepped foot on the property for our tour, I knew this was the place we were going to celebrate our wedding.

Mandy and Jody, who both help manage the property, were so helpful throughout our planning process, which thanks to COVID turned into a much longer ordeal than we planned! But despite having to postpone, they were always responsive to our emails and gave us helpful advice.

We had planned to have our wedding outside on the terraced garden, but our wedding weekend happened to be one of the worst rainstorms we'd seen in years. That didn't phase Mandy at all! Mandy and the entire team at the Haven along with our fabulous planner (Two Roads Event Co.) quickly pivoted plans to have the wedding inside the historic barn and made everything absolutely magical. We had the most perfect day and The Haven will always have a special place in our hearts. We feel so lucky to have been married on such a gorgeous property!

My husband and I got married at The Haven in August 2023 and it could not have been a more wonderful experience. I would highly recommend The Haven for any couple who loves the beauty of the Bay Area. The property is unbelievably beautiful and Mandy was a joy to work with.

Some particular highlights:
- The property is beautiful. We had many guests coming in from out of town and it was so special to get married at a place that celebrates so much of the beauty of the Bay Area.
- You can choose from different ceremony settings based on what matters most to you and your partner. My husband and I really loved Knoll Crest for a quiet setting with a beautiful background and there are a range of options depending on what you're looking for
- Mandy will be you primary point of contact and she was so helpful and organized every step of the way. She has very helpful recommendations on vendors who she's worked with before and we ended up finding most of our vendors from her recommendations! And she was incredibly patient with all of our questions over the months leading up to the wedding. She's also a deeply kind, warm person and it was lovely to spend time with her as we planned the wedding.
- Reception area: we had our reception in the large barn on the property and it was beautiful. Our wedding was ~140 guests and the layout in the barn was perfect - not crowded but full. And a perfect setup for a band and dance floor which was very important to us!
- Quiet and private: it was important to us that our wedding felt personal and private and the property is absolutely that. The space was very conducive to everyone being very present and together.
- Ability to customize to plan a wedding that feels like you: finally, the spaces are very customizable and you can make the wedding what you value. We really valued a wedding that enhanced but didn't try to overpower the natural beauty, felt low key but also nice, and made our guests very comfortable and we were able to work with vendors who made all of that possible.

I honestly couldn't recommend The Haven and Mandy more highly for your wedding. This is my first Google review I've ever written but the Haven made our wedding the most special day of our lives and I hope others get to celebrate at such a special place.
