Staff always friendly. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable. Parking attendants are Great. Ocean front property is beautiful. |We have stayed there 4 times this winter. |When you arrive at night it seems a little sketchy because the hallways are not well lit and very bare bones. During the day the feeling is different.

The hotel is relatively small and intimate. It is beautifully situated right on the beach and thus our room had a balcony from which you can see and hear the beach and waves. The staff from the front desk to the valet personnel were very cheerful and accommodating. Despite the small size, the hotel has a number of amenities....indoor and outdoor lounge areas, a nice little gym, outdoor pool, bar, restaurant, and valet service. It is convenient to many South Florida attractions and is near Boca Raton, Deerfield, Pompano and other coastal communities. We will definitely stay again when next in the vicinity.

Since my review on AirBnb was taken down…
I stayed here in December of 2024, while the location is nice (not for commuting to town) I feel like this is the only thing they pride themselves off of. The rooms are dirty (sand all over the floor) and the elevators are broken down on occasion. DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED ABOUT THE RESTAURANT. That restaurant they have on site is an absolute JOKE. It was $24 for a literal frozen burger patty from Costco with a stale bun and semi-fresh veg. SUPER underwhelming especially claiming the restaurant has elegance and for the prices they charge. Don’t bother buying a cocktail here. They charge you $22 for an old fashioned that tastes like a sweet leather boot. I’m typically not a picky person when it comes to this kind of thing, (I work customer service) but between the restaurant, and lack of cleanliness, I can’t recommend staying here. If you do, just go down the street to the grocery store and buy a bottle of booze and some sandwich stuff for the week. (You’ll thank me later)

We spent three nights at The Hillsboro and loved our stay. We had a Two Queen Room with a pull out sofa, it was super comfortable and had lots of space. The kitchen area had a sink, microwave and half size fridge. Our patio had two chairs and a wonderful view of the ocean. I wouldn't call it a traditional hotel, but that's fine with me. If I needed something (tissues, garbage bags, coffee, etc) there was a neat collection of things in the lobby I could grab as needed. I pre checking in with the app so getting my room key took only a minute. Valet parking was $25 per day with 24 hour in and out access. Compared to places like Portland and Seattle, this is a steal! Staff at the hotel and valet were super friendly and helpful. The beach was beautiful as well as the outdoor seating and patio areas. Each property has their own private beaches so you can't throw a chair down on a neighbors beach and get a tab, but I did see lots of people strolling along the waterline in the evenings. I would absolutely stay here again and will check out other Sonder properties.

The hotel was perfect. We had an exceptional room with great views of the ocean. It was delightful to wake up every morning with a view of the sunrise and the sounds of crashing waves. The AC worked well and the rooms were sparkling clean when we arrived. We need a few cleanings during our stay and the staff was happy to accomodate. Weill return again.

Our room was spacious but we definitely noticed an odour once we walked into it.
Was nice to have a kitchen (fridge, coffee maker) but there’s no plates, no cutlery, no cups. This hotel is on the beach but there is absolutely nothing in the area that’s walking distance ie cafe, convenience store, etc.

Great location. Loved it. Definitely would come back. We were there for 4 days / 3 nights. Yes, it's $25/day for valet parking, but worth it given cost of the room. We had unit 501 which was oceanfront. Great view. Would have loved to have a table and bigger "kitchenette" ... but was not to be... on the hunt for the perfect beach getaway...

First solo trip and was looking for a safe beach side place to stay. I felt so comfortable and safe staying here. Workers were so sweet. Room was clean with a cute view. Beach and pool access with chairs. I would definitely stay again especially for the price.
